Nancy,
getting into Pittsburgh and out again was a piece of cake: The bus-driver took care of that :p
But as I even managed to find my way across Paris and London with our old car, I'm sure I would have found my way across Pittsburgh as well. But I must admit that our new car is GPS-equipped and we usually rent our cars with a routefinder, too. Anja is kind of 'geographically challenged' and so the computer helps us to avoid endangering our marital bonds :teeth: Before we had the computer-guidance in the car I sometimes didn't know wether I should bite off a piece of the steering wheel or just strangle Anja :crazy2: So when I asked Anja about ordering the GPS with a new car she sponteneously said ::yes:: to preserve this :love2:
And I also must admit that it is a nice toy, I sometimes just use it for entertainment. You know: Men don't grow up, their toys just get more expensive.;)

Your NOS-cruise sounds cool. We saw a TV-feature about that ship and it looked great.

Eric,

I sent you a pic of Lenny, Haley and me. I had major cable modem problems over the weekend. I wound up sending the pic 3 times, but I think it actually only went once (I hope). Anyway, I'm sorry if you got it more than once. I'm happy now that my internet is back. Boy what a LONG weekend without being connected and fighting with the cable company.

We are back! We had a wonderful time but the weather was not too good! Cold and rainy!BUT...we did not let it stop us from having fun. The kids swam whenever the rain stopped, we played pool in "Big Muggie's Den" and did some shopping. It was a very relaxing 3 days. This is the 4th trip to HH for "President's weekend" and the FIRST time the weather was poor.We went to see " Miracle" but it was sold out so we saw "Cold Mountain" it was very good.
I also finished Pat Conroy's new book "A losing Season" and enjoyed it very much! A MUST Read for Conroy fans!

I have spent the last 3 hours hooking up my new DLS (broadband) internet. I'm sure it would have taken most people half that amount of time, but I am still a little slow with this stuff.

Eric, got the update! Thanks! We currently have over 70 people on the list! We should be over 100 by cruisetime!

Welcome back Mary and family. The weather here has been crazy. Here in Nashville we had a few snow flakes. Thirty miles to the east and to the south they had from 5 to 11 inches of snow!!!! It was 30 degrees where they had the snow and 41 here in Nashville.

Welcome to all of our newcomers and their families.

Looking forward to going to DC on the 3 rd of April. So far the meet is tentatively scheduled for the air and space museum lobby at 11am.

Hope that everyone has a great week. Mike

Just detach it to your harddisk, and then double-click it. Microsoft Word should start automatically and display the file. If your build of Word is not able to show it, just give me an info and you'll get the List as an Adobe-PDF, which can be opened using the Adobe Acrobat Reader. The Adobe Acrobat Reader can be downloaded free on www.adobe.com, but it's highly probable that you already have it on your computer.

What a great picture of Katie!

Since it's not even 6am and I'm up I've got to train the dog to sleep in a little. This is getting unbearable. She's now out there barking so I'm going to bring her in and then go back to bed for 1/2 hour.

Glad you had a good time at HH despite the weather.

Saw pictures of Tenn on the news -- unbelievable and a lot worse than here although it did get cold again on the weekend.

Thanks for the compliments on the photo. The photo was taken on valentines day. Good luck with the dog Fiona. My son brought home a boxer puppy and he is getting huge. He is now able to climb over the baby gates in the house.

Eric I don't know what I would do without my gps navigation system it is just so handy to go from one address to another. Saves time, miles and maintains martial harmony.

Still researching things to do in Antigua. Just a reminder to everyone to bring plenty of sunscreen slather it on. Even though it will be in the autumn when we sail it is possible to get a nasty sunburn.

Mike,
I hope for your -and Kathy's- sake that this is just a typo, not a Freudian message from your subconscious :teeth: :jester:

It saves our marriage. I don't cuss and she doesn't fuss.

Viking,
I did not get an e-mail to where I can download The List.... or am I supposed to get an e-mail!?! That is the question.......

Hi Everyone, We're back.:wave2:

Welcome to all our new Cruisers! So glad to have you join us.

Disney was Great! The weather Friday was cloudy but warm. We spent the morning in The Magic Kingdom, and the afternoon at MGM. Finally got to see Fantasmic at MGM. Great show.
We went to The Magic Kingdom again on Sat. morning, did a few things, then took the monorail to Epcot. Spent the rest of the day at Epcot. We got some fast passes for Mission to Space. What a ride! But between that and the rain that started around 2pm we missed hooking up with Alikatt99. Also did not get to do our dinner in England. We were just too wet and too exhasted to wait in the rain for our table. We did make it to The Animal Kingdom Lodge for breakfast on Sunday morning. It was WONDERFUL. And the hotel is very nice, very different.
And on our way home we saw the Goodyear Blimp! :hyper:

I tried to catch up on the boards yesterday, but had to go to the ER with my mother-in-law.(Wicked upper resp. infection.) She is ok, they didn't admit her.

I'm cooking tonight :earseek: so I've got to run.

Later, Ave'

AVE,,,,,,, I do not like Mission Space u can have it thought I was going to loose it..... Glad u had a great time......

Just painted the bed room with Disney paint of course
I believe it is called A NEW Morning............

I just want them to release the 2005 dates , So we can book Inaugural route where ever it goes ......

Welcome back Twins. I was wondering if you were getting rained on as the weather channel, showed alot of rain over the weekend in the South.

Eric and Mike--- So if we had GPS in the car, I wouldn't have to listen to Norm rant when we can't find where we are going. We should look into that.

Mike--- I saw where Nashville got all the snow. Again it was on the weather channel. Norm watchs that station constantly. That picture of Katie is so cute. I need to mark my calendar for the our mini meet.

Peter--- Did you do Mission Space when it first opened up. I was afraid of going on it, but when I finally did in Dec it wasn't so bad. A CM told me that it had been toned down alot since it first opened. Are you looking for the summer dates to open for 2005? Do you think it will be repositioned for the summer? California or Alaska? So what color is New Morning? Light blue?

Ave--- We stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge in December. It is really unique. For the right price will stay again. We also loved the breakfast.

Eric--- My son downloaded some pictures from our digital camera onto the computer. I will have to try to figure out how to put them in an email. If I can't he will be home in 3 weeks for spring break and will get him to do it.

Off to bed.

Nancy

DisneyCrazy89,
I sent the List again, sorry about the confusion

Nancy,
get a hand-held GPS on a PDA. So you can move it from car to car. Ask Mike/Papa about it, he's got one.

We LOVE Mission Space. We did it a couple of times in a row, each time in different positions. It was virtually a walk-on ride last September/October.

I did Mission Space last October and thought it was great. Jim didn't go on it as he wasn't feeling well that day. I virtually walked onto the ride using the single rider line. Looking forward to trying it again.

Saw the rain on the weather channel and did think of you Ave but hoped that it wasn't that bad. We haven't eaten at the AKL yet but we did walk around the resort and thought that it was pretty neat.

Dog slept in this morning til 7am!!

Fiona

Ave - glad you had a great time. I've eaten at AKL once. I think it was Boma. They had a buffet breakfast that was very good, but the coffee and guava juice were great. I'd go back just for the coffee :) .
