10,000 Lightening Strikes in Orlando Yesterday!

We had a really bad storm late yesterday afternoon in Orlando. I had just finished mowing the yard and it started to storm. Very intense lightening. DD and I ended up sitting on the floor with the dog. He was so scared. We lost all cable service. It was out all evening. Since I have Roadrunner, I couldn't even go online! Boy, talk about being cut off from the rest of the world!

There are two things I've noticed that I did not expect before moving down here. The intensity of the storms down here and the number of crazy drivers. They just mentioned on TV that I-4 Eastbound is closed at the Universal exit due to an 8 car accident. This is a constant down here. I try to stay away from I-4 as much as possible!

Yikes! I know my folks said they have a lot of storms(the wre south in Naples) but they have never had THAT rough of a time! Gad you are O.K., and back in "the real world"! I wonder if Telly (Fantasia) made her move there this July? I know lightening is a huge concern of hers.
