10:00 am check out time

I have never had a housekeeper interupt at OKW, so I think that might be part of which resort it is.

A 9:00 am check out time is absurd. We're early risers without small kids and could be out at that time easily. For families with kids, getting everyone up, packed and out at that hour is hard.

Oh, missed that. I doubt they would go that early. I rarely see much housekeeping going on at OKW before 9:00.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, after all....

and with the airplanes offering less flights, and the time changes,
we prefer later...

I agree it would be nice to be able to flip over the do not disturb sign, to a ready for cleaning, so housekeeping knows when to clean the room.

Generally speaking, we do sleep in, and don't appreciate housekeeping pounding on the door 8 a.m. every hour, to see if the room is ready for them to clean.

I've stayed at all the resorts more then once and I've never had housekeeping knock on my door. I always leave the "Do not disturb" sign out and I leave the room at 11:00. Years ago I recall getting one of those mystery early morning phone calls, but that was just once.

11 am is perfect. I am one that packs the morning of departure.

We have had the mysterious morning phone call (our trip this October) and we have also had Mousekeeping knock at the door while we were still packing, but not anywhere close to checkout time. Both times this happened at OKW.

Earlier would not work for me either. I am a night owl by nature. On vacation, sleeping late is the rule.
