1 Yr Anniversary Plans Any Ideas?

HEY EVERYONE~~~

WELL WE ARE STARTING TO LOOK AT PLANNING OUR 1 YR ANNIVERSARY AT WDW . I KNOW ITS NOT TILL FEB. BUT I WANT A GOOD RESORT AND BE ABLE TO GET ADR'S.
SO ANYBODY GOT IDEAS FOR ME.....

WE ARE LOOKING AT STAYING PROB AT ANIMAL KINGDOM LODGE OR GRAN FLORIDIAN OR POLY. STILL UNSURE HERE TOO.

WE WANT TO EAT SOME NICE DINNERS SO I WAS WONDERING WHAT YOU SUGGEST (ME NOT A FISH PERSON BUT HE IS ) I KNOW U CAN MAKE ADR 6 MONTH PRIOR....

ALSO LOOKING FOR ROMANTIC IDEAS ALSO ...

ANY HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!

Our first anniversary is also in Feb. I was thinking AKL for a couple of nights (we live 20 minutes away from WDW) and doing the Concierge level so we could do the Sunset Safari.

Also since my husband always called us "Lady and the Tramp" am going to try for an adr at Tony's. I know the reviews are not the best; but it may be special. Have a great time planning!

I know you can have a private dinner on the beach at the Grand Floridian. I think I might have the contact information for it somewhere if you're interested. Also, it's nice to do dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table. We did that the night after our wedding and I'm not into fish either, so I had prime rib

We're spending our first anniversary at Disney too. We are staying offsite at my parents' timeshare to save money. But we are spending the day of our anniversary at MK. We may go back to clean up and change, depending on how we feel. Then we have 6:55 ADR's at CRT. Then we plan to take the monerail to Poly and watch Wishes from the beach there.

You're welcome, FIREFLY01. There are a lot of really lovely ideas listed in that thread. The Wanyama Safari (a.k.a., Sunset Safari) at the AKL is still on my list of things to do. I've had many friends who have done it and all of them have thoroughly enjoyed it (especially the dinner afterwards at Jiko).

I was sent the information by another bride earlier this year and we didn't end up doing it, so I'm not sure if this is still the best contact. It's through private dining at the Grand Floridian. It should be a start though

We celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary in WDW in Nov. We stayed at Saratoga Springs (dvc members). On the day of our anniversary we had dinner at Le Cellier and they decorated the table and there was a rose with a bracelet waiting at the table that my Dh ordered from Disney Florist. When we went back to the room there were rose petals everywhere and a wine basket and balloons and a card from the resort. Look at the website for the disney florist and surprise your Dh with something
