I would like to join the savings party!
I'm leaving for a west coast trip in 4 weeks and
Disneyland is going to be one of many stops on our three week driving trip. So we're saving up over the next month for that trip. Totally excited we get to check out CARS LAND!!!
When we get back in August, I'll be saving for a Mediterranean cruise for the summer of 2013 but I'd also like to start stashing money for our 4th family trip to Orlando. Thank goodness for this summer's bit of Disney, cause we haven't been to WDW since Jan 2011.

I'm used to annual trips, people! But we moved last year from Ontario (right across the river from Detroit, MI) to British Columbia (a couple of hours northeast of Seattle, WA) AND DH is not the Disneyphile I am so WDW is not a priority to him.
However, the kids are dying to check out WWoHP at IoA as well as the new Fantasyland expansion and though DH doesn't really care about the latter, he's waaaay in to the former.
I'd like to look into getting non expiring tickets with the water park options added on to them so we can go back for several visits over the course of the next few years. It's a lot to lay out in the beginning, but lowers the costs in the long run.
Unfortunately, this will take a fair amount of saving...especially since the cruise is a huge priority AND a huge expense. I'll be able to dump all change, bonus monies and excess food and gas budget cash into the Disney account but not really anything else...at least until after the cruise next summer.
So, I'll have an open ended timeline...and a big ol' whack o' cash to scrape together, but I need the thread to keep me focused and saving.
I'm Canadian, so I don't have many of the outlets the rest of you have for saving (I WISH we could get Disney rewards cards in Canada) but then...those loonies and twoonies add up fast in the change jar!
I'll come back in a minute with an estimated budget.
