1 sleep to go.....and then..... we're leaving on a jet plane...

so we now have only one sleep to go.....
it's impossible to believe, but true...
after so many years of planning, only one day to go...

did i mention that i can't believe it????

still so much to do....had my sister here visiting from the states until 5 am this morning (when her plane winged its way west)...so i've been pretty busy with her (in very important work helping her find presents for everyone back home )

crazily i still haven't packed (just for DH and me - thankfully, the rest of the clan has to fend for themselves in the packing department - DS, DDIL, and their two kidlets, and DD and DSIL)

i do have the cheat sheet and all print-outs done...
and of course, ADRs and FPs were finished long ago...

so gotta pack today...sleep tonight....go over everything tomorrow to make sure i haven't missed anything..
then tomorrow night we head to the airport and begin our neverending journey to orlando via new york (13 hours to new york, four hours in JFK, then 3 hours to orlando...etc.etc)

a very lot of hours traveling, but in the end we get to see the Mouse himself!!!!!

we're going to disney world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we live in Israel....
i wish we could fly direct to orlando, but no routes available like that..
we don't always connect via JFK....we sometimes fly via toronto and sometimes via detroit..
depends on the airline...
of the three airports, DTW is probably the best for transfers, JFK the worst (by far)...
immigration at JFK can take forever and a day..
it's speedy when i can go through the US citizen line, but on extended family trips we have to go through the alien line which can be over an hour long...insanely long...

by the way, this is the first time we're on a disneyUK package..
i've bought the UK tickets many times before, but this is the first time we're doing the full package..
kind of exciting and scary at the same time (something new for us)..

that's typical july/august weather in orlando...
thunderstorm every day at 4 pm... and sometimes other times of the day..
but of course, i'm still hoping for a return of the drought while we're there..
