1 Piece of Advice.....

#1 most important tip for a wonderful Disney vacation?

Take care of your feet!

Wear broken in shoes/sneakers with good support. This is not the place to worry about fashion. ;)

Bring two pair and switch every other day.

Each morning before you put on your socks, spray your feet with anti perspirant. I like Suave baby powder scent. Make sure to get it between your tootsies. It will feel like you stepped in mud, but your feet will NOT blister or even get sore.

When your feet feel good, it's ALL good! :)

In order to see Mickey first thing without waiting for an hour in line....take the WDW Railroad to ToonTown shortly before it opens (I think it opened at 10:00 when we were there) We were right there when they dropped the rope and got to see Mickey ASAP!! Just like that- We had the picture and the autograph!

Here are some things I share with people when they ask for advice:

1. Everything will be expensive - accept it, have a budget planned and move on. Stressing out about money will definitely impact your experience.

2. When you encounter people who are behaving badly - do not spend any energy letting them bother you - fate will take care of them - your job is to have a good time.

3. Do not try to do too much - focus on a few highlights each day and then just do whatever sounds good at the time. There is no right answer - just a right answer for your family at that point in time.

4. Relax and enjoy the experience - there are so many wonderful experiences waiting for you - let them happen. Some of the best experiences will be when you least expect it.

Wow! My sentiments exactly. I know that every once in a while when I am planning my trip to WDW I get so caught up in "I have to see it all" that it starts to not be as fun. Stress starts creeping in. Then, when I stop and say, "I really don't have to see it all", that is when I really enjoy myself the most.

And WDW doesn't have to be expensive! You may want to do a character lunch, but one of my favorite things is to sit outside while eating a hamburger at Cosmic Rays. While sitting under the outside cover, you can see the castle right at your fingertips to your right, look at the bridge to Tomorrowland and beautiful scenery in front of you and Tomorrowland to your left. And don' t forget to look at the cool water pond below! It is true peace. Just people and Magic Kingdom watching.

Also -- remember the parades! Awesome! Have a great time!

Go Early take advantage of the early admission if available. \

Take a break in the middle of the day ..

Go back to the rooms and chill>>>

Take a dip in the pool (if weather permits). Shower change and grab a bite to eat.

Go back to the parks or see a new park.

That break in the middle of the day is an awesome thing. Makes you feel like a new person. Vacation seems longer (to me that is)

Enjoy your time stop smell the roses........::yes::
