1 night on Cash - 7 nights on points - FP booking

I have an 8 night trip planned (first night on cash with DVC discount) - when I go into the DVC site it shows a 1 night reservation and then a 7 night reservation.

BUT when I go into MDE - it only shows the 7 night reservation WHICH means I can't book my FP's there until the 2nd night of my trip (in this case - that 1 night will most certainly make a difference in my FP availability because its the Saturday after Thanksgiving and the 1st week of December which is high travel time for DVC.)

So how can I get the benefit of my full FP booking window starting the day before the DVC part of trip - if the "cash" part doesn't appear in MDE?

Have you tried to manually link the cash room to MDE?

It sounds like you need to link the one night stay into MDE. I'm guessing you linked the 7 night but not the cash res.

OK, now I feel stupid - LOL! I just went in and linked it and now it appears I never linked the first "points" one so I assumed it had something to do with it being "cash" why it wasn't appearing. But now it is linked, thank you!

NOW - they apppear as 2 different reservations - 1 for a single day and a 2nd for seven days. So I won't be able to make FP's at check-in +10 days out I think. Whats the work around for that? Anyone know?

You should still be able to make reservations for the whole trip when the window for the first part of your split stay opens.

They are two different reservations, so that they show that way means IT didn't screw up!
