We are staying 1 night at POFQ before our Cruise and will only need 1 small bag for the hotel stay. Can we leave our 2 large bags with Bell Caps on our arrival at hotel & pick them up the next morning when taking the DCL Bus?

If you are taking DCL transfers from POFQ to Port, they will pick up your luggage around 8am from your room. You'll want to have your bags there, and tagged with the DCL luggage tags (don't put these on until you arrive at the resort).

Enjoy your cruise!

So POFQ Bell Services will not keep them overnight? Understand they will pickup from the room in the morning of the Cruise, just did not want to take them to the room for 1 night.

The luggage does not "ride" the same bus as the guests -- it goes to the port by truck. DCL will not be picking up luggage from Bell Services; bags are picked up from your room around 8am. I suppose you could ask to leave the bags at Bell Services the night before, but you would still need to get them to your room in the morning if you want the luggage service from the resort direct to your stateroom onboard the ship. Alternatively you could retrieve the bags from Bell Services when you catch the bus in the late morning and ask the driver to put them under your bus, and then check them with a porter once you arrive at the port.

Enjoy your cruise!

I'll add to what the PP said, if you are taking the Magical Express from MCO to POFQ, your bags will arrive at a completely different time than you do you'll have to get the bags at some point anyway to put the DCL tags on them.

Thanks for the info, did not think about luggage not going with us on DCL bus. 4th Disney Cruise but first time taking Disney transportation from a Disney Resort to Port. We have taken from Airport, used Happy Limo, and had a rental car but first time using from WDW.

One of the best perks about taking DCL transportation from the resort is the luggage handling. If you are taking Magical Express from MCO to your resort, your luggage will be delivered separately to your room anyway. But as previously posted, they need to be in your room and tagged the morning of your cruise. You will then see your luggage outside your stateroom later in the afternoon.
