anyone have any suggestions, we will be doing universal the day before we leave disney to fly home, we have 1 table service to use up. Was thinking either a dinner for that day or maybe a breakfast or lunch on the day we leave , our flight leaves around 5pm. so far these are the places we have booked on the ding plan, cape may, coral reef, boma, ohana, crystal palace and tepan edo, as well the afternoon tea at the gfr. Any info would be great!:cool1:

Agree more info needed re party size, ages, etc.

But as a starting point: I would not schedule a dinner ADR on your Universal day; you don't need the extra time pressure. If you are not leaving until 5 pm the following day, you don't need to be back to your hotel for ME until mid-afternoon. Will assume you are not going back to a park that day. You could either sleep in or swim at the hotel in the morning (make sure you check out on time, but you can check your luggage at the bell desk and keep out a big carry-on type with some plastic bags for the damp swimwear), then go have a leisurely lunch at a resort, then come back for your ME pickup time.

Classic final lunch would be CM at the Contemporary. More adult final lunch would be The Wave (also at Contemporary) or Kona (Poly). Alternative would be to hit Downtown Disney for final shopping and have lunch there (and use up any leftover snack credits at Goofy's Candy, too).

it will be 3 adults myself my sister and a co worker, I agree that I shouldnt book something on universal day so that at least settles that. Cm or the wave sound like they could be the answer, never been to the wave but have done cm for breakfast, thought about doing dtd but Im wondering if we would be a little to rushed with dining and then shopping, do the stores all open early say around 9am? If they do then that could work as well? thanks for all the help:thumbsup2

forgot to mention I do love the idea of using up any remainder snack credits at goofys gallery, Ive found we do always have some left over but have never used them there!:thumbsup2

I'd do breakfast or lunch on the day you leave- look at Kona Cafe, The Wave, Grand Floridian Cafe. You can always go to DTD if you have time at night after Universal.

I would suggest GF Cafe, Kona or the Wave. You have some great restaurants booked. Enjoy and have a wonderful time. :thumbsup2

Thank you everyone for all the input. Ive narrowed it down to 3 gf cafe, the wave or whispering canyon. Never been to wilderness lodge so that would be interesting to check out, can you tell me why this would be a good choice to dine at, dont recall hearing much about this one?Would you suggest lunch or a breakfast there?Im thinking that a lunch would be the way to go but then again if it was a breakfast then we would have most of the day to just relax and not feel as rushed with a lunch date. thanks again this really helps!:thumbsup2

Whispering Canyon Cafe is a lot of fun. It is loud and a little rowdy. The servers have fun anctics (just ask for some ketchup and see what happens). It is family style with a lot of meat skillets. If you like meat and a fun dining atmosphere, try it. On the other hand, do not eat here if you want a more low key meal or less meat.
