1 family room or two inside cabins? First cruise!

We are trying to figure out the same thing - the one caveat is my DH is claustrophobic. He is worried the inside staterooms will make him crazy.. I really don't know what to do.

Yeah, I am the same. I would rather not cruise than do an inside room. For our upcoming cruise we have connecting 5B's. A year later we are booked with one verandah and one inside room across the hall for the kids b/c they will be older. Still not sure that will work though. Bottom line for me is that if I want to cruise I have to do a family verandah versus 2 insides just because of the claustrophobia. All I have to do is look at a picture of an inside room and my throat closes up.
