1 Day..which beach??

Well....I'll be leaving Sat, 1st time @ DL. Will also be attending the Disneyana convention next week.

I probably will have 1 (maybe 2) days to visit a Ca. beach, boardwalk, shops.
Which one would you recommend???

I would also love to see the aquarium...is it worth the trip??

Are you thinking the Aquarium of the Pacific? I liked it. I haven't been for a couple years, but I thought it was pretty cool. Probably not an all day thing, but will fill up a good 3-5 hours.

I'm not much of a beach person, so I'm not a lot of help there.

<font color=navy>I really like Newport Beach. You can rent boogie boards, bikes, etc., there, have lunch or dinner at the restaurant on the pier. It's really nice.

Huntington Beach is another favorite among many. They have fire pits there. The waves are a bit strong for my liking, though.

I could go on, but those two are the closest to the DL resort.

Combine the aquarium with your beach day. Then head to Newport Beach(for shops, food, people watching) or Huntington Beach(for relaxing).

I have just returned...and it was wonderful!!

I did go to the aquarium in the AM and Newport Beach for the rest of the day...it was very relaxing and well worth the car rental.
