has anyone done any of the 1 day trials? They make me nervous. Do you do them early in the am and cancel by the end of day? Are they all call ins to cancel

I did driving for dollars at TT months ago and though the canceling was easy I NEVER recieved credit.
I did it in the morning and canceled in the very late evening. It wasn't enough time for their to be any way to get credit either. It was the first and ONLY paid cc offer I will ever do with TT. I will do CC offers with SR and QR and leave TT to the smaller offers.

oh and its exactly 24 hours, you can contact them by phone or online. This is one of the rare companies that deal with membership online.

I was gonna try the driving4dollars on CD, but they wouldn't accept either my Simon or Obopay (there was less than $10) on either one--they did try to charge $16 on the Simon card. Oh well, better safe than sorry

I did the detective sherlock one no problems. I canceled online and then called to follow up. I did it in the morning then looked around and didn't really like the site.

I just tried detective sherlock and couldn't get it to work.


I may have to use my reg cc for that one.. I am trying to make some more money before the end of the month.The june cashout payment is th elast one to make it to me in time before my balance it due for my trip

I have done 2 of these. My advice is: GO SLOWLY and READ everything on every page! If you do that, you should be fine.

There are lots of little boxes that you need to read & make sure are checked correctly. If I remember right, on the first page after you click to sign up, you have to change the checked box TO the free trial for $1 offer. The page loads with the box checked for like a month's worth of charges.

Then on a later page, when you're ready to enter the site, if you just hit 'enter' to continue you'll end up clicking to try some bigger version of the site. You have to find a little link that says something along the lines of "no, just take me to the free trial" or such. It's designed in a tricky way but if you go slowly and READ everything, you can get through.

Also, when I did this last week, I bookmarked the customer service link and the cancel page. However when I clicked to cancel I got some message about it not working right. IF/When this happens, watch for the email membership confirmation because there's a link in there for customer service. When you click on that you can choose another link for "cancel my membership" and it WORKS. You get an email confirmation almost immediately.

Just don't click on that first link and think you're cancelled. You'll wind up with a $39 or so "monthly" charge.

Edited to add: Here's the info I posted in an earlier message, and it contains the cancellation link:

I noticed something a little tricky when doing the Cash Duck offer "Psychics4Free" for $15.

When you click the 'how do I cancel" link it takes you to a customer service cancellation page. Then you submit your information and it is supposed to cancel you.

However I got a message:

"Membership Cancellations

Your Processor's Cancellation Page is Not Available

The transaction details have been sent to our customer support group and your subscription will be cancelled.

Thank you for trying our site."​

Then later I got my email confirmation and it had a DIFFERENT link in it to cancel. When I went through that one, it showed that my first cancellation had NOT gone through. But when I used this new link and cancelled, it went through and I got a confirmation email.

I thought it was a fluke, except that is the exact same thing that happened on CD earlier this month when I did the other $1 for 1-day trial for some other site with a 4 in it (Like Psychics4free).

So, if you do one of these and get that fake error message, here's the information to cancel from their email:

Yes, mine took more like 2-3 days. But I got credit.
