1 Day ticket for Nov/Dec Free Dining

Has anyone booked the most recent free dining and only purchased a one day ticket to fulfill the "package" requirement? We have a trip in Sept that we have already purchased a 5 day PH for and would really like to upgrade it to an AP. Our second trip is in Nov/Dec, and we currently have a 10 day PH on the ressie, but haven't paid in full yet. If we decided to upgrade next week, I just want to make sure that we can change the ressie to a 1 day and not lose the free dining. Thanks!

Yes you can book the trip with only a 1 day base ticket, and keep the free dining.

yes..i just did that for our upcoming december trip..we are all upgrading it to an AP when we get there.

We booked for Dec. Only bought 1 park ticket and didn't reserve all 4 nights either. Will be there for 3 nights and still got the package.

Yes you can book just 1 park day. I did it for my upcoming trip in October.
