1 Day Park Hopper. How does Disney know?

Our family of 4 has 2 - 1 day park tickets and 2 - 1 day park hoppers.
We received the 1 day park hoppers complimentary from a previous trip whereas my daughter got sick and we had to leave the park 10 minutes after using the hoppers.

It really stinks that only 2 of us can park hop and 2 have to stay at one park only. My question is......if your hand is stamped, how does Disney know that you don't have a park hopper?
Say, we go to MK.....leave after a few hours and then want to go to MGM to finish our day. After leaving the MK, and getting our hand stamped can't we just enter MGM and show our hand even though 2 of us do not have a hopper ticket?

Does anyone follow me??

No, you have to run your ticket through the machine again, and it will come up that it is not a hopper pass.

The ticket is stamped with the time, day and park that it was originally used at. If you were to try and go to another park you would need your handstamp AND the ticket to gain entry. When you put your ticket in the turnstile it would come back as not valid and flag the CM to check the ticket at which time they would see that it is not a hopper ticket and they would advise you that you only have access to the one park that you had already been in on that day.

The automatic turnstyle will realize that the 1d1p ticket has been used at a different park, and will reject the ticket.

(not saying you'd do this, but please don't argue with us on this. Some people try to argue that they haven't used it yet, or that they used it in our park, and should be able to come back. We have the ability to "read" the ticket, and could respond with the park you were in, and the exact time you entered it.)

They check. And they're meticulous. That I noticed last week when we were there.
