1 day left on current tickets - trash?

Last week I got sick the last day and a half of our trip, so we didn't go to any parks on our last day (even though we each had 1 day left on our 7-day park hopper tickets). At the time I felt so sick I didn't care about the money or anything else other than getting better. But now that I feel fine & am missing WDW, I started hoping there was something we could do with our tickets. Especially interested in anything that could help convince DH to come back again before next June! ;)

I've searched all over the DIS and easywdw and allears and Disney's site, but it seems to look like we're out of luck since we left to come home.

We're still within the 14-day window of first use, and we each have 1 day we did not use. But is it correct that we can't do anything with that leftover day (convert to AP, make it no-expiration, etc) unless we drive back to WDW before our 14 days are up?

Hoping for a magical answer... :wizard:

I would think your only other chance would be a Disney Store. MAYBE.

The cost of going from day 6 to day 7 was probably around ten dollars/pp... So, don't think of it as "Omg we missed a full price park day!"

Unless you can find a *magical* solution... I would try to "Let it go" ;) and chalk the (approx) $10pp loss as a vacation fluke.

Thanks, rastuso and altoqueenkelly. I don't particularly care about the $ - just the value perceived by me - the "wow, do I still have 1 more day in my pocket" factor? I probably should just let it goooo... But I can't help fantasizing about going back! :drive:

You could have upgraded to an annual pass with the full ticket amount being applied to it, the start date would be backdated to the date of the first use of the MYW.

You can call and ask but typically it has to be done in person.

Call and ask. The worst they can do is say no.
