1 day at Universal

So I want to incorporate one day at universal while on our trip to disney in April. I have a few questions. I already plan on using Uber to get there and back to my disney resort. Here are my questions:

1. Can I do both Universal and IOA in one day. We are not Harry Potter fans so not much time spent on that.
2. where would you recommend by a one day park to park tickets for the most savings that is reliable.
I do have both AAA & AARP not sure if either would have discounts.
3. what time would you recommend being picked up by Uber to head to Universal?

1) You can do the highlights of both .Not all . Even of you are not Potter fans it is definitly worth your time. Best themeing anywhere. April can be busy depending on Spring breaks
2)One day tickets to ANY themepark in Orlando is rarely, if ever discounted. You can try AAA or AARP but I wouldnt count on much of a discount
3) you will want to be at park gates about an hour before opening. Uber will drop you off at the citywalk garage area. you still need to walk thru the area ,bag chek and thru ciywalk till yiu reach the park entrance

But the hotels in Orlando UO, are not participating with that discount

My DH wants to incorporate a Universal day on our next trip as well. He's a HUGE Harry Potter fan. I'm trying to figure out if we really need to plan to try and do both parks in that one day? Would you recommend trying to see the highlights at both, or just focusing our time at IoA? It will just be the 2 of us, no children...

A huge fan is going to want park to park tickets. The visit would be incomplete otherwise. Diagon Alley, Hogwarts Express, and Hogsmeade + Hogwarts are all fabulous.

Great questions! We are going in December...the 15 &16th to be exact. still pondering if it will be one or 2 days for us but I can say Uber seems to be the way to go!
