1 crazy family+2 resorts+5 parks+1 snake+1 surprise=A Mickeystoontown report 4/3x2

I love the monster laugh show, love buzz, love people mover but hate stitch! And these old bones are not going on spec mountain again I fear. But I am perfectly happy to stay with my 5 her old grandson, Connor, and wait for the rest of the family to ride. Last year we got popcorn and then Stitch came out for a photo op so we were good for them to have 2 rides in a row!

I still can not believe all those people and laying on a rug or whatever does not appeal to me either. I bet your Mama was fast asleep and not sad to miss the mayhem.

You are an updating fool today.

That's a heck of a lot of people and I know Mark would be hitting the exit immediately. That's kind of cool that they set up a movie for people to watch. I wonder how many of them fell asleep laying there (I know I would have)?

Mark's with John (and me)...Space Mountain is just too jerky for this aging body.

A girl's gotta get her Dis time in when she can. ;)

There were still so many people in the park and it was now well into the next day.

It was neat to see the movie set-up and, yes, there were several people who were out like a light. I even heard someone snoring. :rotfl:

John's the only one in our family who doesn't care for Stitch. The rest of us love him. He's so cute and blue and full of mischief. :stitch:

Yay for Connor meeting Stitch and the rest of the family riding twice.

The laying down on the carpet/blanket thingie didn't appeal to me either. I guess, though, I really don't know why it grossed me out since I've been known to stretch out on a bench or two before. :lmao:

To clarify, I like Stitch and I loved the movie, just don't like that attraction and the smells.

I can't believe it! I'm all caught up on your TR!! I read through it all in one evening and was so tired I didn't even respond.

Sounds like MK was a bit of a nightmare to be there for 24 hrs. :scared: I don't know if I'd want to be there with all the crowds, but would like to be able to say I was apart of being in a park that was open 24 hrs. :goodvibes

I hope Hunter had the best birthday ever. :thumbsup2

I'm not one for parades period, unless they are 4th of July parades or Christmas parades. :confused3 Don't ask me why I don't like them, I just never have been a big fan. I'm one of the one's who likes to be off riding the rides while everyone else is watching. :goodvibes The best time watching Wishes was from the hill on Splash Mt. and from the walk way that goes in front of the water between Frontier land and Liberty Square, seeing the fireworks reflecting off the water was a pure magical moment for sure. :lovestruc <happy sigh>

Don't like Stitch either, can't stand him. Mackenzie seems to like him and the movie, but I don't really care for him. :sad2:

Can't wait to find out how late y'all ended up staying, so far your saying well into the morning....curiouser and curiouser. :scratchin

That sounds like something that I would do. I read a report and then forget to comment.

It's neat to say that we've been to the Magic Kingdom when they were open 24 hours.

I hope Hunter had the best birthday ever. :thumbsup2

I'm betting that he'd say that it was pretty darn good.

I'm not a big mid-day parade fan and, like you, am usually seeing/doing an attraction during those times. The spot that you are talking about sounds devine. Oh way, she's at another park. :rotfl2:

Poor Stitch ain't getting no love on my report.

Hopefully, you won't have to wait too long before I reveal how long we lasted.

A preview of my next installment, click on the picture. If you listen closely, you'll see/hear why I am nervous about making the Round 2 video. Again, sorry that it's sideways...not that it matters. :lmao: Apparently, I stink at taking videos. :rotfl2:

Great updates! I could not lay on that blue carpet either! But then if I were super tired....:confused3 Nah, still probably not! That is crazy how busy it was especially at that time!

I wouldn't want to lay down on the carpet, either! But… maybe I would… I get really tired and value my rest. I think that's because I still have two young kids who do NOT get the concept of sleeping in… They sleep through the night just fine- but they are raring to go at 6am EVERY.STINKING.MORNING.:coffee:

Do you need to come and let me help you with your video? We have a camera built into our laptop. ;)

Congrats on Round 2!! I'm sure you'll be great!

I can't believe the crowds! I would think many people would call it around 2. Did they ever close to capacity? I'm guessing not since you got back in at 1 a.m.

I am laughing at the pictures of the people laying down. It looks like the adults are laying and the kids are all perky. I bet it was super busy. I can't watch the videos on my laptop so I'll have to go back later and watch.

Wow the crowds were enormous, I love the idea of the movie and the seating area but not sure I'd lay down on it either :rotfl2:

That's so cool that they showed a movie. I'd lay on the rug. Everything else is gross and germy, so why not? I'd have fallen asleep, though.

I'm so impressed that you braved the crowds for so long. I would have packed it up and called it a night long ago, and my kids would have been miserable.

Glad you got to do so much, though, even with the crowds. And, I love Stitch. Haven't been on that ride since it was the Alien Encounter, but Stitch is one of our favorite characters. Hopefully we'll make it on the ride next time!

Yeah double update!! My DH loves Stitch, we were at Magic Kingdom last night and he was trying to convince me he needed the Stitch Pillow Pet! Just to clarify he's 49:rotfl2:. I love coming out of the ride and listening to everyone complain about the chili breath. Not sure I would be tired enough to lay down on that carpet, just think of all the nasties on the bottom of your shoes, do you really want your head that close? :scared: Though we did see a man allowing his little boy to suck on a hand rail on one of the boats yesterday!:lmao: But it is a neat idea to be able to watch a movie and rest.

It'd have been hard for me to lay down on the carpet...think of all of the germs. It was really busy and it was early in the morning.

If I were too tired and had to lay down and watch the movie, then I'd probably just go back to the resort. My kids were like that when they were younger....up early and ready to cause some chaos.

I believe that Hunter's computer has the camera in it too. Hum, guess I need to check that out pretty quickly since the video will be due soon.

Congrats on Round 2!! I'm sure you'll be great!

Thank you! I'd love to make it on to Round 3 and then the Panel.

With it being 24 hours of magic, I'm betting that it wouldn't close even if at capacity. I don't know what the capacity is but it had to be close.

I am laughing at the pictures of the people laying down. It looks like the adults are laying and the kids are all perky. I bet it was super busy. I can't watch the videos on my laptop so I'll have to go back later and watch.

I did notice more adults napping than the kids. I'm betting it's because a lot of the kids slept in their strollers during the day while the parents pushed on.

Wow the crowds were enormous, I love the idea of the movie and the seating area but not sure I'd lay down on it either :rotfl2:

I had no idea that they had the movie/slumber party area set up. It was actually pretty neat to see but I, myself, probably wouldn't have been able to stretch out and lay down like that.

That's so cool that they showed a movie. I'd lay on the rug. Everything else is gross and germy, so why not? I'd have fallen asleep, though.

I guess when you really think about it....everything at a theme park is pretty gross and germy. Oooh, I don't think that I want to think about it. Where's my hand sanitizer? :lmao:

We were determined to try and stay as long as we possibly could. My kids have always been night owls and don't mind staying up late.

Oh gosh, if you like Stitch and you liked Alien Encounter, I think you need to see Stitch's Great Escape. It's cute!

Yeah double update!! My DH loves Stitch, we were at Magic Kingdom last night and he was trying to convince me he needed the Stitch Pillow Pet! Just to clarify he's 49:rotfl2:. I was on a trip report writing roll yesterday. And you didn't buy the Stitch pillow pet? Poor hubby!

Oh my word! How badly did you cringe when you saw the little boy sucking on the hand rail? :crazy2:

Great updates Lisa!!

Would you believe me if I told you I'd never done the Laugh Floor? I know!! I know!! Crazy!! I'm def doing it this time!

I cannot miss the nighttime parade!! It is one of my favorites!

If you get a min, check your messages. Sent you one yesterday, just have a quick question about CBR. Thanks! :)

Were gonna boogie oogie oogie like we just cant boogie no more!

**I would like to issue a apology in advance of my posting the following installment. :flower3: I had absolutely no idea that we had to hold the camera a certain way in order for the videos to be uploaded to Photobucket. Therefore, in order to read this post, you need to be prepared to read upright and then lean your head to the left in order to watch. Sorry! Ive learned my lesson and will know better from now on. :p

We thought that we would venture over to Adventureland and see how it was over on that side of the park. But, first, wed have to navigate through the crowds and it looked like it was going to be a challenge to do so. Again, we zig and zagged and finally got to the little pathway to Tomorrowland Noodle Station and we cut through. :tiptoe: A bathroom break was in order and we were right there so we made the pit stop.

There was a party going on in front of the castle and we could hear the music from where we were. :music: The atmosphere was sizzling with excitement, the music was blaring, the DJ was spinning some tunes, the music and excitement engulfed us, we could no longer contain ourselves and we simply had to go with the flow...we had to do it....we had to bust out in dance: (Psst, click on the picture to view)

Well, Hunter and I did....John sipped his coffee and bobbed his head a little:

Come on John Boy......dance with me! :dance3:

Oops, seems as if he disappeared while I continued to boogie oogie oggie like I just cant boogie no more:

Given the fact that its previous obvious, that I cant dance and dont care who knows it or actually witnesses is, John was probably hiding over in a corner hoping that no one knew he was with Hunter and I. Hey, what can I say? He married me knowing about my awesome dance moves (or lack thereof). :confused3

We inched our way towards Main Street and could see the party going on in front of the castle:

A glance towards Adventureland and Liberty Square and we knew that the other side of the park would be just as crowded as Tomorrowland. It was decided that we should call it a night. Or day rather. We strolled down Main Street which was, to our surprise, not very busy. I asked Hunter if he had enjoyed his 16th birthday party at the Magic Kingdom and this was his response:

Then, we had accomplished what we had hoped for.....a celebration that he would remember. :bday:

As we were walking towards the bus stop, I remembered to look at my watch to see what time it was and it was 3:29 a.m. We hadnt hung around for the full 24 hours but we did stick it out for 18!

**Up next: A boat ride through the Living Laboratory. I have a craving for lemons!

Wow 18 hours. I'd say you did very good:cool1: I bet you slept in that morning, right? It amazes me just how many people were still there at that hour.
