Im the Duck Commander! No I am! Uhh, guys..Heeeeees the Duck Commander!
You may remember that Mama had chosen to stay at the resort and we had told her that wed meet her later that afternoon. We called her to check in and she had been over to the food court and eaten a lunch of soup and breadsticks. The florentine soup and breadsticks at Caribbean Beach are delicious so if you get a chance, try them. Youll be glad that you did.
We told Mama that we had one other thing that we wanted to do before leaving the park and heading back to the resort. What was that one other thing? Well, it was over in the New Fantasyland so we traipsed back through the crowds and felt like salmon swimming up river. The crowds hadnt let up at all. But, once we made it to the new castle walls, it wasnt that bad and we were able to make it over to our destination. Clues as to where we were going:

We had some characters to meet in the new character meet and greet tent. The last time we were at Walt Disney World, Mickeys Toontown was closed and in its place were the two Dumbos and the bathrooms. Everything else was still behind construction walls. Apparently, we were on a mission because I took no other pictures of the new to us area.
In the tent, we saw the line that we needed to be in and marched on. Again, I dont remember how long the line was but it must not have been too long or we would have wavered on whether or not to stay.
The first character that we got to meet was the Great Goofini! He saw Hunters birthday button and asked, through hand gestures, how old he was. When Hunter said 16, Goofy started acting like he was driving all crazy and then pointed to his bike that he crashed through the set behind him:

The talk continued for a little while longer and then we posed for a picture with Goofini:

Goofy patted Hunter on the back and, again, warned him about driving recklessly before we waved goodbye.
Next up was the one who we had truly waited in line for. Donald Duck! Why was it so important that we see him? Because we were wearing our Duck Commander shirts. Thats why! We couldnt pass up the opportunity to pose in our duck shirts with the Duck Commander himself.
Donald noticed our shirts right off the bat and pointed them out to the castmember who was taking the photos. I told Donald that we had come all the way from the hometown of the Duck Commander and simply had to take our picture with him. The castmember told Donald that we were the Duck Commanders and he shook his head side to side like he was saying No! Thats when the castmember said Uhh, guys..Heeeeees the Duck Commander! and Donald laughed and laughed at that and held up his hand that he was #1:

It wasnt until after we posed for that picture that Donald realized that Hunter was wearing a birthday button and he had the castmember announce to everybody in line that they had to sing Happy Birthday to Hunter. It was neat to have everybody join in on the song.
We posed for a couple more pictures after the rousing rendition of Happy Birthday!

Showing off our Duck Commander shirts from the back:

We waved goodbye to Donald and went on our merry way. That was a fun meet and greet with the ultimate Duck Commander himself.
**Up next: Oh no I didnt! You did! Blame it on Mamaw!
