1 Child and 10 Adults--A GG to Celebrate DD's 4th Bday :) TR Link is Posted

Your ADRs look great!!! I totally understand the tea party decision. I think I would have made the same decision.
Is Plaza the restaurant at MK right off of Main Street? If yes, we ate there last May for lunch. We had a very good experience and enjoyed it!

Amanda

Thanks Amanda--I think it was the best decision to make regarding the tea party. I think the ladies will appreciate it much more than the Princess Party. Plaza is right off Main Street, about half way down. They are suppose to have great sandwiches and ice cream desserts. The menu on AllEars looks pretty good--I am hoping they offer the salad listed when we go. :thumbsup2

Hi:yay: Somehow I didn't know that you had a PTR!!!!! I am Subbing!

Your plans look GREAT! I was reading your AK day, and saw that you needed a CS. We enjoyed Pizzafari. It is nice and cool and the food is really good for the value.

Also, we were lucky enough to meet D'Vine in 08! She is SOOO amazing! Hope you get as lucky :goodvibes

Can't wait to read more popcorn::

:welcome: Katie!! I am so glad you are able to join me in planning my DD's first trip to Disney!! :goodvibes

Thanks for the AK suggestions--I am glad to know that Pizzafari is a good option. I am really hoping we can spot DiVine, I will really be the only one who knows to watch for her. ;)

Thanks for reading along!!

all your ADR's sound great!
if you keep trying sometimes you can get the ones you missed out on; I was able to make a few changes...I just keep browsing-:upsidedow

sorry I have been MIA; I sorted my threads into folders and it was not such a good idea--I think I'm going back to one page of threads so I can keep up

now I need to keep reading...

Hi Connie! I know what you mean--I keep the User CP up and it messes me up because I do not always see the notification of new updates. I can get so far behind. :rotfl:

Thanks--we are really happy with the ADRs. The only one I would really would try to change is the F! package to MM but with 11 of us trying to get in, I imagine it will be really hard to get it. I may try here and there but I am not expecting anything to come of it.

your adr's look great:thumbsup2 I can't blame you for cancelling the teaparty, it's very expensive and if she might not be into it yet then I would definitely just do the regular tea at GF:)

You know how much we loved AK (thanks for playing along with my TR!!)--we had some super magical times there--our faves for CS were flametree bbq (for he's me and Ben) and Pizzafari for GC-

I'm off to read back thru the thread to see your crayon roll up--my mom made GC a tink one that was a pip squeak marker and paper holder last year--I'm curious to see the water bottle holder too--that would be good to have on the stroller--easier than digging it out of a backpack--

Hello Veronica!! I hope GenevaClair is doing better!! Thank you--we are happy with our ADRs. It will be much better to do the regular tea with DD instead of the other party, I am happy with the decision 100%!

:) Yup, I do remember how much you like AK (all the magical moments :))--we enjoyed it for the brief time we were there last time. The family we traveled with does not enjoy AK, so I am looking forward to spending more time! :goodvibes

I'm here! I've been lurking the past few days to catch up! :)

To comment about the F! ordeal-I would definitely suggest getting up early and going back to POR for a rest. Plus, instead of getting to DHS at the hottest time in the day, you'll be leaving for your break during that time and returning when it starts to cool off. Last trip I planned way too much stuff and I ended up ill at the end from exhaustion. :sad2::sick:

:welcome: to my PTR!! I am glad you came out of lurkdom to post! :goodvibes

the heat is one of my biggest worries--DD can break out in a heat rash so easily. I definitely am planning on taking a break during the hottest part of the day with either a nap, swimming or both. I know we won't be able to do as much if we stay the whole day--but I think we will be much happier and not exhausted by the end of the week.

Your ADRs look GREAT and the afternoon tea sounds like fun!! And YAY for the 8:00 a.m. BBB appt!!!:woohoo:

all caught up again!

We have Scene it 2nd edition. Maya LOVES it! Of course, we fudge a bit with the rules to make it an even playing field. She always beats me on certain question types. She can name a movie from the smallest of clues- like they showed a Christmas present and she knew it was cinderella. She's clueless on some types of the questions. But we all really enjoy playing it as a family.

Your ADRs look great!

And so do your wishes. When we did DHS, we actually split the group for some of the shows- Cayden etc did Indiana jones while we did beauty. It was the only way to get it all the mustsee shows in with the showtimes they had scheduled.

I meant to respond to this on my TR but forgot- we didn't feel that we got a ton of candy at MNSSHP- but it was not our focus. We hardly hit any of the treat trails. So I'd say we did good for the amount of effort we put into getting candy. We would get more at home with true trick or treating but it was definitely enough to keep the kids satisfied and then some.

Wow! You have some PTR going on here!! I'm only on page 3 but I wanted to let you know I'm here!!

What a big group- I can't wait to hear how it goes as I would love to get my family all together and do a Grand Gathering as well... Now to go back and read some more!

Hi Lauren! Thank you--we are happy with them. I have a feeling the thrill seekers will split from those of who pass on those rides so we can maximize the time we will have in DHS. I really want to go early, knock out a few must dos and go back and relax until it is time to go back for F! dinner.

Good to know--not sure how many lines we will. That will obviously depend on how pack it is going to be.

:welcome: to my PTR! I am glad you could swing by here :goodvibes I am planning on doing a TR so I will let you know how it goes. I am trying to be optimistic (on the good days) but I have to confess I am worried about it.

Thanks for hanging in there and reading!! :upsidedow

We had our first Disney family movie night. Well, it ended up being two nights. We had the food on Friday and watched the movie on Saturday. :rotfl: On Friday, Lilian wanted to play outside late afternoon and I decided to take advantage of the gorgeous weather by cleaning out the front planter beds. I sure do love  seeing the perennials and bulbs starting to come back! :goodvibes: Lilian came in and had her dinner—peanut butter and jelly heart sandwiches and strawberries. DH and I ended up having pizza and I also made pie tartlets for dessert for them.

Saturday I finished up a huge project for grad school then we went to see DFIL perform in a gospel concert—very uplifting and moving. We went out to dinner then came home to watch Alice in Wonderland. Lilian said she enjoyed it. :thumbsup2:

Today, I have been working on getting my sewing machine working and ready for me to sew Lilian a few things for our trip. I am half way done with a bubble skirt. I think it will be really cute once I am done! I am also really excited to say I have lost 6.6 pounds this last week. I am working really hard to lose the fertility treatment weight that has been hanging out. I am really happy with the progress!

So, now onto a fun little question and answer session again. We talked about the top things we are looking forward to our upcoming trips. Now, how about what are your top five favorite Disney characters? Top five Disney movies?

Top Five Favorite Disney Characters:
1) Mary Poppins
2) Mulan
3) TinkerBell
4) Belle
5) Mia from Princess Diaries

Top Five Disney Movies:
1) Mary Poppins
2) Mulan
3) National Treasure
4) Aladdin
5) Princess Diaries

I hope you all are having a good weekend. I am looking forward to reading everyone’s lists!! :goodvibes

Hmm....I like this challenge.

Top 5 Characters:

1. Belle (I too have brown hair and love to read.)
2. Mary Poppins (I am really enjoying this movie lately!)
3. Piglet (His timidness and easily scared personality suits me perfectly.)
4. Rex (His obliviousness reminds me of well, me, sometimes.)
5. Tinkerbelle (Her temper reminds me of me as well!)

Others: Dory, The pudgy dog from 101 Dalmations (lost on a name at the moment), Boo, Cinderella, Russel and Dopey.

Top 5 Movies:

1. Beauty & The Beast (My all time favorite movie as a young girl.)
2. Mary Poppins (I didn't really get into this until I went to see it on Chicago's "broadway".)
3. Cinderella (I remember watching this oftern as a young girl.)
4. Peter Pan
5. The Little Mermaid

Others: Up, Lion King (I still cry when Mufasa dies), Aladdin, Snow White, Pinocchio, Jungle Book, Toy Story and Pochahontas.

It really is hard to pick just 5 for each category! But I like my choices! :)

Hmmm... that's a toughie but I'll try.

Top 5 characters:
1. Dory
2. Giselle
3. Woody
4. Tiana
5. Cruella (Glenn Close version)

Top 5 Movies:
1. Up
2. Enchanted
3. Toy Story
4. Robin Hood
5. Alice in Wonderland

Wow, this is tough... I'll go with:

1. Sulley
2. Tinker Bell
3. Mickey
4. Belle
5. Dory

1. Lilo and Stitch
2. Monsters, Inc
3. Toy Story
4. The Incredibles
5. Finding Nemo

Man, that was really was hard. I love all of the classics, but I'm a Pixar girl these days it looks like. I just love all of the adult humor and the originality of all of the characters. Oh well, I love it all but these are my picks. :goodvibes
