1 bedroom G.F. vs 1 bedroom B.L.T

1 ,2, 3 go..... what are the pros and cons to both of these resorts we are looking at staying on the monorail and cant decide where to stay or what the pros r of 1 and the cons of the other....
in our party is 3 adults and 2 kids. sleeping arrangements would by couple in the king bed, adult and child on pull out and other child on murphy bed or chair bed.

BLT 804 SqFt
VGF 844 SqFt​

Bathrooms:

BLT - 2
VGF - 1 (albeit a very fabulous one)​

Dining:

BLT - no dining in the tower, all dining is across the bridge in CR
VGF - no dining in the Villas building, all dining is in the main building of GF​

Access to parks:

BLT - walk to MK, buses to HS and AK from CR bus stop, monorail to Epcot and MK from CR station
VGF - boat or monorail to MK, buses to AK, HS and Epcot, monorail to monorail to Epcot​

Pools:

BLT - use of both CR and BLT pool areas. Not especially great theme but nice pools.
VGF - one of the cutest splash and play areas in all of DVC, use of DVC and GF resort pools. IMO, nicer than BLT and CR pools.

TBH, I don't think that you can go wrong with either one. It's a matter of budget, preference and availability.

If either of the 2 kids is a girl, VGF. There is magical princess-ness at VGF that BLT just does not have. Nature of old Victorian vs. modernist.

BLT one bedroom is nice. GFV one bedroom is heavenly.

I agree with others but will add having a full 2nd bathroom with that many people at BLT may be better. Also I love the views from there and walking to mk.

However VGF room was lovely!

Both are wonderful. It depends on your family. For us, if we are budgeting for a 1BR (we have DVC), it's BLT. With 2 DDs the value of the second bathroom cannot be underestimated.

If we are doing a 2BR, it's VGF all the way.
