First cruise, and very concerned about noise. Have been told to avoid rooms with noisy areas (e.g., nightclubs, etc.) directly ABOVE or BELOW. Is there any concern for being on Deck 6 (Cabin 6546) directly above the Oceaneer's Laboratory on Deck 5?

Thanks!

I am not sure about above Oceaneer's, but I thought the place below it was Studio Sea?

My thinking is above it won't be very noisy. I know from time spent in Studio Sea, that below it you do get to hear the kids running around, but not much else, I believe it is well insulated from other sounds.

Funny you should ask. Just got back from room 6546 on the 10/11 Magic Western trip. The room was great. We heard no noise from the Oceaneer's Club at all. Enjoy your trip!!!

We had a cabin above the lab on one of our cruises -- only once did I hear any noise. It was from a late night pizza party. It sounded as though one of the counselors was using a mike announcing the end of the evening. If I had already been asleep, though, I might not have noticed it.
