*1/3 New Trip Report* Pole Dancing and Food Porn

BBB looks like fun, especially if you get an unsnippy fgit....
I don't think she was very disney-like!

YAY!!! What a GREAT update!! I'd love to know who made their shirts for this day--it isn't the same lady you had issues with on some of the others, right? What a great BBB experience!! Lily is GORGEOUS and Morgan looks very cool!! Your PP pics turned out beautifully! Didn't you just love being at MK before the crowds? We plan on doing that again on our trip!! :goodvibes

I love Morgan's new do and Lily was a very beautiful princess. I can't wait to take my granddaughter to BBB but she won't even be born until the end of March so I guess I have to wait a while!

(I'd rather be looking at the back of my eyelids)

that is too funny, I use that expression alot, and people just look at me funny!

I love the pictures of the kids with the goofy statue, Lily is really cute, but you better make sure she isn't posing like that when she is 16 :rotfl:

I just love Sam's photo's, I already am using one of your wishes pictures as my backround picture, but the one's from epcot are just gorgeous.

What great pics. I had no idea BBB opened before the park... great tip! Lily does look princessy with all those attendants surrounding her. Love the photopass shots!

Can't wait for more!! popcorn::

Great pics! Lily looks like she had the time of her life! I can't imagine being a Fairy Godmother. I think that would have to be one of the best jobs there!

I love the picture that the PP photographer snuck in of them holding hands just walking!! How 100% adorable!

They are all great, in fact.

And you had a whole 1/2 hour to just leisurely start your day off soaking in the atmosphere of the hub. Cool!

Oh my gosh! I love your BBB pictures for both Morgan and Lily! Morgan was adorable!! I love that he did that!! Lily's PP pictures are beautiful and you can tell that she loved it! What the with her FGMIT? :confused3
Tracy

She absolutely loved it! And Morgan liked it too although he wasn't really too fond of the finished product. I don't know what the deal was with the FGIT...she just basically thought that I shouldn't talk to her at all.

Awww!!! Such very very cute photos!!!! how adorable they both look! CUTE! Looks like so much fun to have everyone just fawning over you :goodvibes The empty park pics are just lovely.

It was a lot of fun for them, and I just loved getting into the park early.

Lily looks so adorable!!! Makes me want to do BBB! :rotfl2:

Thanks! She enjoyed it.

The sad thing is...she lost out on a very good tip. I'm a pretty generous person.

Yes, I did love being in before the crowd!! Thanks for your compliments on the kids. I think they're pretty cute, but I'm a little prejudiced too. Morgan is going through a little bit of an awkward stage right now, but he really is rather adorable in his own way. OH, the shirts. I bought them from "glitzysisters" She sells on etsy and on ebay. I absolutely loved the things I bought from her, and she was a joy to work with.

You will love having a granddaughter to dress up!! I love buying Lily clothes, it's the best. :)

I'm using a wishes picture for my background too. But I'm thinking of changing it to the picture of the epcot ball & fountain at night. It is beautiful! I'm scared to do a TR for my December trip since I'll be the one taking the photos...

Thanks!! It was a great time to go to BBB. No wait at all!

They did seem like they were having a lot of fun in that room.

I love the picture that the PP photographer snuck in of them holding hands just walking!! How 100% adorable!

I absolutely loved those pictures of them walking. It actually shows how they really are when they aren't showing off (or fighting). They're pretty close for siblings, which means they're either fighting or loving most of the time!

I really did enjoy that 1/2 hour just hanging out in the hub before the craziness of the day started.

Once we had the tiny rope drop at the back of the castle, our plan was to hit the attractions that we had missed on our first day. We started with old favorite Peter Pan because I'm always completely amazed by how quickly that line gets long. We followed the CM straight there and we were on the 4th car of the day. Sam took this opportunity to get some shots on the rides of details that he noticed.

(at first I had to really look at this one to figure out when/where it was, but it is in PP, right?)

From there, we visited the 100 Acre Wood. It's funny. I can't get them to show any interest in Winnie the Pooh books/movies at home, but as soon as we get to Disney, it's "Winnie!" "Tigger!" Tigger was always my favorite growing up, and since I'm a Clemson Tiger I used to collect Tigger things for a while. I've given that up since (I'm more of a Mickey/Minnie girl these days), but I do still have kind of a soft spot for the guy.

We headed from there to Cinderella's Carousel. Lily has heard that people can ride on Cindy's horse on this one so in her mind they're all Cindy's horses. "Look, Mama, I'm on Cinderella's horse!!"

Then it was on to my favorite~ Philharmagic! (Maybe my second favorite now that I've ridden Soarin') We waited outside the ECV door with Grammie.

I was kind of sick of sitting on the back row, so for this one I actually did move closer to the front because there was hardly anyone in the theatre.

I kind of love this picture, even though my eye immediately goes to my fat leg sticking out!

We had done the Fantasyland attractions that we had missed, so decided to go towards Frontierland.

Continued in the next post.

If you don't like my long (probably boring) stories, skip this part. In 2006, Morgan had ridden both Splash Mountain & BTMRR. He said he liked them at the time but since had decided that they were both too scary for him. We had had several conversations about this usually in the car on the way home from school. His fear didn't have that "oh God no terror" feel to it, but rather the "giggly I could probably be talked into this kind of feel" so I made a deal with him. I told him that he had to ride either SM OR BTMRR. He "reluctantly" agreed and then spent many days trying to decide which one. Finally he made the decision that it would be Splash Mountain.

When we got over to FL, we were going to get a FP for Splash Mountain and then go to Tom Sawyer Island. As we got closer, I realized that SM wasn't running. Before I could say anything, Lily (my little daredevil) started yelling that she could see BTMRR (which she had been too short for in 06). I took one look at Morgan's face. Even though I could clearly see that he didn't really want to ride BTMRR, his sister was thrilled and he wasn't going to look like a scaredy cat in front of her. So, he put on his "I'm not scared" face and we went and got FPs for BTMRR. Neither of the grandmothers wanted to ride so I did whisper to him that he could stay with them. There was none of that since his little sister was showing him up.

We went over to Tom Sawyer's Island while waiting on our FP time. This place does nothing for me, but it's Sam's fondest memory of Disneyworld from the one time he came as a child. Since Grammie couldn't take her ECV over, I sat with her on a bench while Sam & his mom explored the island with the kids.

It was time for our FP when we got back over the water so we got in line. The whole time Morgan held my hand super tight while Lily was a ball of energy. Sam & I kept looking at each other over her head wondering how she was going to respond once she got going.

When we got into the car and strapped in, Morgan leaned over to me and said in this small voice, "I should have stayed with the grandmothers." :lmao: (It was all I could do not to laugh.)

And here's how Lily was:

I will let this series of pictures speak for themselves. She has the greatest "scream-laugh" I've ever heard:

She was begging to go again as soon as the cars stopped! And Morgan loved it too. They both keep talking about how it was the best ride!

Coming up next: We finish our morning at the MK, and lunch at Cindy's house.

Fantastic updates! The picture of Morgan looking over Lily's shoulder into the mirror is too cute. He looks like such a proud big brother.

What a great series of pictures on BTMRR!! Perfect!! I have no love for Tom Sawyer Island either... think maybe it's a guy thing. :confused3

LOVE the picture of you holding hands with the kids. :lovestruc

All in all looks like a pretty great morning in the MK!! ::yes::

Thanks for passing on the Etsy/Ebay seller! I checked her store out and she has some really CUTE things!! Thank you Shannon!! :goodvibes

Oh my!! You had me laughing out loud describing Morgan's hesitancy in riding BTMRR!! Lily sounds a lot like Ally!! Ally LOVED BTMRR!! What fun!!

WOW what a great update!! I have to agree with you I always head to PP first because the line there....just ridiculous...seriously 50 minutes..LOL!!!

Loved that Morgan went on BTMRR and that both of them loved the ride that is FANTASTIC...your pictures are awesome!!!!

I love the pictures on the wildest wide in the wilderness!! The picture of you and Morgan on the train :thumbsup2 And Lily's expressions are just priceless! She looks so thrilled!!
I also like the pics of the mountain from the Tom Sawyer perspective! ::yes::

Tracy

Morgan sounds so much like Baylor. He was really afraid to ride BTMRR for the longest time.
Until we got him on it....
Now it's riding over and over....

I was soooo behind. Such great updates and fabulous pics. I appreciate all you do as a teacher. My older DD started K this year and each time I volunteer I thank the teacher. I taught preschool but all those 5 year olds :scared1: I am going to check out that Ebay seller.

Hey! What a great morning it must have been! I can't wait to hear about CRT! My guys love the "wildest ride in the wilderness"!!! But it did take my DS4 a little while to remember that he did! Seems the kids loved it! Photos are fantastic!
:goodvibes

sometimes you just have to give them that nudge on to the ride, you know they are gonna love it ,it is the not knowing that scares them the most,my kids were like that for HM, and TOT. now they love those rides!
