*1/3 New Trip Report* Pole Dancing and Food Porn

Oh wow!! GREAT update!! We are planning on doing Le Cellier the last night we are at WDW--which happens to be the night before my parent's 39th wedding anniversary!! I'm so glad you liked it!! Ruth's Chris is my FAVORITE restaurant so I can't wait to eat here!! :lovestruc

I love the night time pictures of WS!

Your dinner sounded and looked so good! Someday I will eat there...

Amazing, beautiful, gorgeous, I could go on and on, your pictures are just nothing short of spectacular. Tell Sam that I'm in awe!
He needs to give you some lessons before next month....
;)

I really do think the pictures turned out great. I love the purple sky of the night WS ones. I told Sam that his were much better than the photopass photographers!

I'm in total agreement with your Le Cellier review. Did you happen to dip some of the bread into the soup? Yummmmy
We have been lucky enough to score reservations at Le Cellier each of our last four trips. It's our favorite! The mushroom fillet....mmmmm, mmmmm, good!
Are you eating there in December?

The soup was a yummy dip for the bread!! Such an amazing place. No, we're not eating there in December, and I'm kind of regretting it now. I decided to try Les Chefs instead.

I am glad to hear how good LeCellier is. I am looking forward to my dining experience there. Sam is an awesome photographer. I love all the pictures.

Thanks! We were definitely not disappointed!

OH MY GOSH!! I was gone on vaca for a week, and it's taken me a week just to catch up on YOUR TR! I haven't even begun reading the others.
You are having an amazing vacation so far.
I'm glad that you are feeling better. I saw that you were not feeling so well a while ago. Now that I'm caught up, I can comment on your new posts. :woohoo:

I guess I'm a little long winded, huh? ;) I hope you had a great vacation!

I have awful sinuses. I go back and forth between feeling okay and feeling bad!

Glad you're back!

I just LOVE my Hipster!! I have that style in several VB patterns!! :lovestruc

I love Ruth's Chris too. The steaks were probably a little bit better at RC than LC, but the sides were definitely better at LC. I hope y'all love it!!

The hipsters are my favorite. I have 2 of them and they're just the perfect size.

Gotta go back and catch up :surfweb:

Glad you're here. (Sorry I'm going to post some more...)

The dinner was yummy! I love trying new restaurants!

:worship: to Sam for the beautiful pictures! WOW!!

Thanks for your LC pictures ( l liked Morgan and his carrot sticks!)
I am really looking forward to eating here in May...I had a reservation this past trip and canceled it for The Wave---which I do not regret because it was delicious. In May I made ADR's for both! :thumbsup2 I'm going to be all steaked out!!

It's o.k. to be long winded. I did forget that I wanted to comment on your purse that you want. I wanted that "faux Moach" bag (mickey Coach) when I was there last time, but I couldn't find it! I LOVE the brown one!!
And I definately want the Dooney and Bourke Disney bag. (I hope I'm posting this on the right TR :rotfl2:) Wouldn't that be a HOOT :rolleyes1

Great post!!! I LOVE Le Cellier!!! We have had very good luck with the restaurant and I can't wait to head back at Christmas.... LOVED that tomato stack and the soup :goodvibes my boys devoured their soup, steak and mashed potatoes... we subbed them for one, and the other got greenbeans, so it was enough for each to share with eachother -- a very nice kids meal for the DP a GREAT deal!!! We had the smores.. or rather I get the smores, and I am hooked on that one! VERY good!

Great pics of Epcot on the way out! Love the fountain :)

LC was delicious!! I want to try the Wave. I almost booked it for our December trip. Maybe next March....I'll be post-WLSurgery, but I'll be able to eat some, I think!

My kids loved LC, too. They both love steak and would cheerfully eat it for every meal (wouldn't we all? ;) ) I'd love to try the smores. I almost ordered them, but went for the creme brulee. It was good, but not great; so I'd be open to try something else.

I love the Epcot fountain too. The colors shining on the ball behind the fountain are just gorgeous!

I gotta tell you: BBB seemed like a huge scam to me before I was the mother of a 5 year old girl. Now, I recognize that it probably is a big scam, but we had to do it anyway! :rotfl:

We headed out early Friday morning because our BBB appointment was at 8:00. I was so excited to see the MK before Rope Drop!! Since we aren't breakfast people, we'd never done an early ADR and this was a chance to see the deserted Main Street I've always heard about.

Lily was supposed to go with clean combed hair so we just stuck a headband in it for the trip. I was MOST excited about their t-shirts for this day. I know a lot of people do the dresses, but those kids just look so hot to me, so we did these shirts instead. I absolutely loved them and would recommend the girl who made them to anyone.

(Excuse the quality from my phone, Morgan's wet hair, and his serial killer grin please...)

When we got there, Grammie headed for the ECV line and grabbed her ride for the day. The kids hung with her a little while since we were standing in line. I never realized how many people are there before RD for breakfast.

When they let us in it was right before 8:00 and people filtered onto Main Street. We were headed for the castle, but first the kids saw Morgan's Main Man Goof. Lily draped herself across him seductively and posed for the picture. :rotfl2:

DSC_0527.jpg

Then Morgan joined in (well not with the seduction, but with the picture)

As we made our way down Main Street, Sam grabbed some pictures of the nearly empty areas:

We walked into the castle and waited by the door to the BBB, which I have to say I've never noticed before! Soon enough, the door was opened by a FGIT who immediately noticed their shirts and exclaimed, "Princess Lily! Prince Morgan! We've been waiting for you!" It was adorable and Lily's eyes got huge!

Continued in the next post: (LOTS of pictures)

I've been thinking about the best way to do this, and I think I'll do it one kid at a time. It's easier than bouncing back and forth like we were doing that morning.

Morgan's FGIT was named Stephanie. She was adorable!! Morgan really wanted to have his hair spiked up, but it was just too long for spiking so they only gelled it. He was a little nervous about the whole thing, but Stephanie talked it up and he went along with it.

Image079.jpg

The first step was to gel it all up with spray gel. Morgan thought the screen to protect his face was hilarious.

Image083.jpg

Then Stephanie asked him his favorite color and he picked red and blue. I thought it was a little Spiderman'ish, but I didn't say anything. She painted the front of his hair with red/blue streaks, and then drew a Mickey head in the back with a Q-tip.

Image094.jpg

She asked him if he wanted sprinkles, and he wasn't so sure. (which led a really funny pose as he "thought" about it.)

Image092.jpg

She showed him the glitter, and once he saw the Mickey heads he agreed that it would be cool too. Since he was a "cool dude")
Image096.jpg

She sprinkled him and he had to use the screen again.

Image098.jpg

Image099.jpg

Then she had him close his eyes while she waved the magic wand over him. I loved her saying as she waved it:
"Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo
May the Force Be With You"
DSC_0546.jpg

Then she told him to turn around for the big reveal.

Stephanie did such a great job with him! She was cute and completely aware that she was working with a boy in everything she said. I gave her a big tip and told her how happy I was with her. I'm not sure that I'd ever do this again for Morgan. It was cute, but he got sick of it after a while because it was stiff. He was ready to take a shower that afternoon when we got back to the hotel. It only cost $7.50 so that didn't bother me, but I don't know if it was really worth it. He did enjoy the attention while they were doing it though.

Another castle picture for the Prince on the way out:

Coming Up Next: BBB Princess

Lily draped herself across him seductively and posed for the picture.

welll at least she doesnt have her leg out and her toe pointed. if so, it would be all over! hahaha!

Great so far! Looking forward to seeing the girly girl all done up! :goodvibes

Great MK photos!

Just found your report and got caught up. What amazing pictures! I can't wait to see Lily's. I have been going back and forth about whether or not to do it for my 4 year old DD when we are there in May...I am leaning towards yes!

I am also a teacher, and completely understand about all the behind the scenes stuff! I teach k so no papers to grade, but no textbooks either so TONS of prep.

Also wanted to say that your IaSW story was so sweet!

The sad thing is, that's a great picture of Morgan. But I sure wouldn't put it on the Christmas card with Ms. Pole Dancing in it!! :lmao:

Morgan looks really cute! Can't wait to read about Lily!

Thanks. I really like him with bangs, so it was strange to see his hair all slicked back.

Great so far! Looking forward to seeing the girly girl all done up! :goodvibes

Great MK photos!

Yes, the girly-girl definitely enjoyed it! :cutie:

Aw thanks. BBB was fun. I'm not sure it's a every-visit things, but they did like it.

I think a lot of people think that since they were a student, they completely understand our jobs. There's definitely behind the scenes things that most people would be amazed by!

While Brother was getting cool duded, the princess was being led to her throne next to him.

One of the things that I liked about BBB is that they were constantly referring to the princess stories. If something was lost, they'd blame it on Tinkerbell "who's always playing tricks on us." They also would start calling out names of colors like the fairies in Sleeping Beauty. It was a cute touch!

Lily's FGIT was Jenny. I think Lily liked her fine, but honestly she was snippy with me. I was busy with Morgan for a few minutes, and then turned and mentioned that I wanted Lily to get the princess hair rather than the pop star. Jenny's answer was, "I'm her FG; not yours. Leave us alone Mom." It ticked me off because I was the one paying her, not Lily. Lily had gone straight for the princess look so it wasn't an issue, but it just struck me the wrong way.

The first thing they did is show her the tiara and let her choose her nail polish.

Image080.jpg

Image081.jpg

She, of course, went for the pink nails.

I was completely amazed how good she was for them. We fight every morning when I have to brush her hair, but she let Jenny fix it with no problems. I really was impressed with that.
Image089.jpg

Another FGIT came over to do her nails and makeup while Jenny worked on her hair.
Image101.jpg

Image117.jpg

At one point, I looked over and she looked so princess-y with all her attendants surrounding her!
DSC_0544.jpg

She had to use the shield as well, and she got a big kick out of it too.
DSC_0554.jpg

Jenny's saying as she waved the magic wand was a little more princess appropriate:
"Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo
May all your dreams and wishes come true."
Image126.jpg

The last step was applying the sash:
Image133.jpg

Of course, we had to bring Brother over to see as well
Image124.jpg

Finally, the big reveal!!

I guess the look on her face in that last picture is probably the reason we did BBB and why we might do it again for her. She was absolutely thrilled with the results and couldn't stop looking at herself!

Continued in the next post.

When we finished it was only about 8:30 and we had to wait for the park to officially open.Of course, Daddy took this as an invitation for a photo shoot. We also met some photopass photographers so we got some shots from them as well. Feel free to skim through these pictures. I know there's a lot and I don't have much commentary.
