1/3/09 Magic - First Time To St. Croix

... I am in Tennessee and I am ready for 6 weeks to be here!

We'll be passing through Tennessee on I-40 sometime tomorrow headed toward Dallas. I'll be sure to wave.

My family and I will be joining the fun on the cruise! This includes Mom, Dad, brother and my husband. We will be celebrating Dad's 60th Birthday!!

Is anyone thinking about renting a car on St Croix? We may cancel our tour and rent a car, see things on our own, especially since my husband really wants to go to Point Udall. He is looking into rental rates.

Me and my kids (3 of us) wanna snorkel and doing a private charter would really rock! Not sure how much room you have or what the pp rate is... we would only be interested in 1/2 day... morning or afternoon. We have family that doesn't want to snorkel that we want to explore some with as well

I'll make a list and print copies to pass out at a DISmeet, if you don't get a copy then....I'll have copies on my door for people to take. I do not have time to go back and read all the posts to see who is particpating, so please PM me (before December 19) if you are interested. I will start a list. We will need stateroom number, DISname, names, number of adults and number of children in each room. Anything else? Any tips?

So far the car rental idea is not looking very good. Car rentals want 3 day minimum and are located at the airport. Looks like we may keep our island tour excursion.

Need a final t-shirt count...probably looking between $8-$10...if I don't have at least 10 people, can't do it. When I have a final count, I'll give you a definitive price, and whoever wants 1 can pay me through PayPal...I'll distribute at the DisMeet.
Speaking of DisMeet...what about 3:00 ~ish in either the Promenade Lounge, or near 1 of the pools?

3:00ish is good, I prefer outside at one of the pools. We're from Chicago and already have cabin fever so we like to be outdoors and much as possible.

Khakismum's didn't have us down on her lastest list but we really really want to be a part of the FE so I'll email my info to PlutoJudy. Thanks for taking this on, re: dismeet I would prefer somewhere by the pool as well cuz the kids will most likely be out there and won't want to leave. I can't wait!!!!!!

Yes, I'll do that this weekend.
She gave me all the info but I was waiting until I have all the cabin #s. I have to have all the info before we leave (we are leaving on an early morning flight on Jan 1) then I will post it an update.
I have 35 days to do Thanksgiving, my daughter's birthday (Saturday), fish extender, more fish extender gifts (bought some at Disney World in September and some at Disneyland this month), all Christmas activities (advent services, shopping, wrapping, cards, decorating, cooking, baking) and get ready for the cruise. My lists have lists.
