First, our flight out of CT got canceled and rebooked, so that was stressful. We used ME to get to WL. The hotel is stunning and it was the first time we stayed there, so we were very excited. We had a courtyard view right above the pool on the 5th floor and it was lovely! The room was clean and nicely appointed and we had plenty of room for us, our 6 y.o DS, and 2 y/o in a pack n play. We had park hopper tickets and made the most of them by going ot character breakfasts in Norway for example, only to leave from there and head to AK for the day. The weather was perfect, with temps ranging from high 60s to high 70s. It was only cold one night when we first got there, but otherwise the evenings were mild. The parks were not crowded at all, and during the weekdays we basically walked right on most rides. Even for Toy story we waited only 15 minutes. We had no trouble getting ADRs on short notice since our trip was moved due to flight being canceled on way in, and on way out as well. We had to stay an extra day ( i know, how horrible ) and were able to chose from a number of places with same-day notice. Apparently, lots of people couldn't get to WDW due to the canceled flights, which left a bounty for those of us stuck there. WL also worked with us on the extra night, only charging $155 a night for the room. The flights being canceled caused some tension and anxiety and we spend a couple of hours at the hotel having to deal with the airline, the trip insurance, and such, but it wasn't too bad. We did get to use the pool a few times also, which was lovely. We did pack all wrong as the weather was supposed to be much cooler as of the night before we left, then the temps shot up while we were there. We hardly used any of the jeans and sweatshirts and wound up rewearing the summer clothes. Better safe than sorry however. Oh, and it didn't rain at all .
So now we're already thinking of our next trip and hoping to do a Disney cruise this time. I think a Jan-Feb trip worked well for us while we were there, but made for travel hassles, additional expenses, and more time off work. So not thinking we will do that again. All in all, we had a wonderful time!!!!

P.S we used a sit and stand stroller and so glad we did. Our 6 y/o was on and off of it the whole time, having gotten quite tired from all the walking. One of the pitfalls of not waiting on lines.
