1/26/2013-Fantasy-Eastern including Puerto Rico

I think something weird is going on with our cruise. I looked a couple weeks ago, and there were only a few categories remaining, and it appeared our cruise was almost sold out. Checked today, and almost all of the categories outside of concierge are available. I wonder what is going on :confused3

I wonder if a large group had put a hold on the rooms and then changed their minds? Did the price go down at all? (hey, a girl can hope!)

I'm not sure about prices, because I stopped tracking them closely when the category I have booked was no longer available.

I saw that as well. I also saw a 1 bedroom available where all the concierge had been grayed out. I'm sure that didn't last long and is probably not even up anymore.:confused3

I know the kids clubs are closed when the ship is in port, but does anyone know if the Edge will be open? My daughter is not interested in any of the shore excursions in San Juan and we were considering leaving her on board. She is 12 and an experienced cruiser. Does Disney have a policy on this? I'm a little nervous. Any thoughts?

I believe the kids clubs are open when in port. If you look at Navigators it says its open. Plus last cruise I know my kids were bummed about things they missed when we went off the ship. We are also planning on leaving our kids on the ship while we are doing an excursion on San Juan. I know that Dis will not let the kids off the ship without a parent so I know they will be there when we get back :cool1: The other stops we are taking the kids off with us :)

I got it from both sides this weekend. I was ready to pack it all in and go live in a cave. Oh, families!:lmao:

Too bad we'll be far apart; it might have been nice to meet for coffee or something, even as a break. The furthest south we'll be will be, uh, well, rte 80. But we'll probably visit my friend in Bolingbrook, which still doesn't count!

Hey if you need a break you can always go to Ikea! :goodvibes:goodvibes

How can I see recent Navigator's? I would love to get an idea of things on the Fantasy.

The kids clubs are open in port. The only time the on ship clubs are closed is on Castaway Cay since they move the kids programming to the island. Although, the nursery does stay open on board that day.

At the very top of the boards you will see a drop down box STATEROOMS, hover over that and you will see NAVIGATOR'S to click on.

Wow, it is 3 months from today. What a great thought as opposed to the upcoming storm we are expecting next week.

Big sighs of relief can be heard at our house... we've made the early dining list. PHEW. No one on the cruise would have been happy if we got stuck at late dining, and I can't even blame that exclusively on my 4 year old! :)

I will be settling into my stateroom and locating my favorite place to watch the waves. :beach:

This is great - so glad for you! How did you find out? Did they call you or did you notice on your reservation?

houseofstaggs and hairmajesty and Donnah I have you on the FE Group but I need your info. Room number, name, age, gender, and favorite charactor for everybody in your group thank you. As soon as I get this info I will send everybody the FE Group 1 list. YES we are full in group 1 now onto group 2. Let me clear that up, our FE Group is broken down into 12 rooms per group and we have just filled group 1 we still have LOTS of room for everybody that wants to join our FE Group. We need 12 more rooms to make up group 2.

Wonderful! Working on 10 so I can PM you :)

I had contacted our travel agent about paying off our balance, and she let me know it came through. I was looking at our reservation last night, but I didn't notice, but of course, that could just be me not knowing where to look. I still don't "get" the website much, so I need to practice before November 12th ... so I can tell my husband what to do. ;)

Thank you jilljill! I will have to check that out from my laptop. I don't see it from my iPad or IPhone.

Best Place to get FE!! I can't even sew a button on :)

We once used a tote bag that we attached to our fish. No need to go all out if you don't want/need to. There are also a couple of threads out there on making a no sew FE and also another one where a poster made their's out of duct tape. So there are many options.
