A new question!

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? Money, of course, is no object!

At this point, all I want to do is go to Hawaii! ;) But, I have a keen interest in the US. This country is vast, so there's definitely a lot to look out and do and see!

If $ were no object I would tour or cruise around some of the Asian countries (Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, Japan, etc).

I have also dreamed of taking a trip to the Galapagos Islands with a group of veterinarians.

I looked at St. Thomas excursions today and the Kon Tiki cruise and Honeymoon beach excursion piqued my interest. I read reviews outside of the DIS, and most seem positive. Have any of you taken this excursion in the past? What are all of you considering for St. Thomas? :)

I am thinking of heading to St. John, eco hike or island tour.

I looked at the Kon Tiki cruise too, but I think our guy will be really needing a fairly unscheduled day by then, so I've been reading about making our own arrangements to go to Coral World and a beach (forgetting the name right now - the one next to Coral World). Seems not too hard, and then we'd be on our own schedule - so long as we plan to return to the ship early enough to avoid traffic issues, which won't be a problem for us.

I'm sure he'll love the cruise, but this is the first year we won't be doing a "real" beach vacation, and he LOVES digging in the sand - forever, and ever, and ever... so we're "beaching" as much as possible.

However, it's early days yet - we might change our minds. It's been known to happen once or twice before :)

We sure are quiet on here. Maybe the closer it gets the more we will talk:)

Yes it is quiet! I have been crazy busy with work-travel and getting DD ready for pre-k and signed up for fall activities. Let's try another question...what is your favorite Disney memory (watching movies, park visit, special gift, experience, etc.)?

For me, my favorite memory was the sail away party on our first cruise. When the characters came out, DD was awestruck! She didn't want to be close to them, so we watched from the upper-deck. After the party, a couple came to find us and said they couldn't even watch the show because they were too busy watching DD's reaction. :) Not only was it amazing to watch DD, but we learned that when it comes to Disney, there are definitely other guests who go out of their way to be nice!

My favorite memory was when my DD got her simba on her first birthday. We still have simba and DD is 18 now. She has always been a disney baby. Her nursery was done in Disney babies.

Busy here with similar things to cblack.

Um... (true confession here) ... we have no real Disney memories. DH and I have never been to any parks or on a cruise. I remember being traumatized by Bambi and Pinocchio, at which point my parents stopped taking me to movies for a good long time, :) , but I don't think we'll count that.

So, we're making new ones with our little pirate, and we'll see how this goes. Here's hoping it's better than the terror I experienced during Bambi - hard for it to be worse!

Awwww! Here's to making your cruise the best (I have no doubt it will be better than Bambi and Pinocchio)!

Hi all! Well, I've been quiet because my parents were in town and now I have an allergy-induced sinus infection, complete with a fever! And overtime at work! And coworkers who think they don't need to be at work!

And all I want to do is go home, cry, and sleep. (Cry? Yes, I don't feel good. Woe, etc)

On the upside, today's high is in the low 70s with rain all day. We desperately need the rain, so keep it comin', Mother Nature!
