1/26/2013-Fantasy-Eastern including Puerto Rico

Sarbah77 I am so sorry that you are ill:sick:. I fill your pain my DD has a sinus infection with broncidus, I had to go get her yesterday at her volunteer job (she volunteers at our local hospital in the er) she is in her second round of antibiodics just cant shake it. I wish you a speedy recovery. We wil keep you in our prayers.

Hi all! Well, I've been quiet because my parents were in town and now I have an allergy-induced sinus infection, complete with a fever! And overtime at work! And coworkers who think they don't need to be at work!

And all I want to do is go home, cry, and sleep. (Cry? Yes, I don't feel good. Woe, etc)

On the upside, today's high is in the low 70s with rain all day. We desperately need the rain, so keep it comin', Mother Nature!

Feel better soon!

Glad you have better weather too! We are supposed to have a high of 82 tomorrow :scared1: I am going to freeze!

Just wanted to pop in and say hello. It has been months since I checked in. Did we ever decide if we were going to do the fish extender gifts or not? As for excursions we are doing the ATV tour in St Marteen, rent jet skis at Castaway Cay and not sure about Puerto Rico yet...any ideas would love to hear them. How many of us are paid in full? Not us :lmao: not even close, but I make the final payments on both of our cars this month so that will free up $1250 a month so I should pay if off really quick after that. :thumbsup2 Well I need to run have a great weekend all. Big :grouphug: bye

Next question, for the weekend perhaps:

What are you most looking forward to doing on board? This could be a Disney activity or it could be your own.

Is there anything you want to try that you haven't tried before?!

Most looking forward to? First, not worrying about the kids.. Our daughters will spend time in the teen club and our boys who have special needs can hang out in the kids club...The counselors work REALLY well with them. Second enjoying our private verandah. Never had one till our 4th Disney cruise and now we will NEVER sail without one. Third...Not rushing rushing rushing around like we do on normal vacations. I have really bad Fibromylagia and just being able to lay down when I want, sit outside when I want etc will be VERY priceless to me.. And fourth.. Spending quality time with my 16 year old. She will be a Junior in High School starting on Tuesday and I can't stop crying... I still remember her being my baby :sad2: Soon she will be off to college and I will miss her something aweful. :sad1: Dang me i'm bawling like a baby right now. Thankfully she loves to be with us and LOVES cruising, she will not go on any other line except for Disney. :goodvibes

Want to try? The detective game for sure, maybe the aqua duck...wonder what a big whale looks like sitting on a duck :lmao: Also after 9 cruise's we have never taken a family photo and I REALLY want one this time. Lastly eating lunch in the dinning room. :upsidedow Oh and finding out what time Pluto's dog house puts out the giant green olives so I can get a bowl full :woohoo: before all the kids do :rotfl:

Yes we are doing the FE group. If anybody would like to be in the FE just PM me and let me know.

Most anticipated for this cruise, hmmm....

I am thinking we might do a Cabana again, did it out of some winnings last cruise, really enjoyed it a lot, we even felt it was worth it for just the two of us.

Seeing a new island.

Really want to visit the night clubs, always say I will, always end up asleep, lol.

Running the 5k at Castaway, I do it at least once a week at home, no reason to chicken out this cruise.

Pj

sftnslky - I am a homeschool mom also. my daughter is a senior this year, almost retired.(lol):rotfl2:
pjpoohbear- You go 5k runner. I cant wait for a new island also.

Oh, shoot. I'm so very sure you're fine. The aquaduck on the Dream was SO MUCH FUN. SO FUN. Yay.

For those of you in the FB group (and I have YET to put FB names together with DISboard names!), this is old news, but....

YAY WE ARE CONFIRMED GOING YAY YAY YAY

There had been some conversation - my DH didn't want to do a Jan cruise and an June Alaska cruise in the same year. I get it, kinda, but I disagreed strongly.

Airfare dropped this week to what I considered reasonable, so I'd been pressuring him to call his parents (... we'd be doing the Alaska cruise with them) and he was kind of stalling on this. Finally, he said, yes, of course, we were going to go, he knew I wouldn't have it any other way, would I mind the budget?

This came ON TOP of a long tough week. After my parents left, my allergies smacked me with a virus (even a fever! Really?!), I was asked to work OT (but for pay - first time in my 11 years at this place!), the DH was being a little jerky, and then my boss gave me some bad news about the future of my job (I'll have one, but it's changing without my okay).

FINE. Husband said we could go, I was going to go look at airfare and probably take the plunge.

Last week, it was $287 to Orlando.
This week, through yesterday morning, it was $230 to Orlando.
Last night? After our conversation? $193.
*click* bought.

WE ARE GOING ON THE DISNEY FANTASY IN JUST OVER FIVE MONTHS!!!

Been busy having lots of fun at Disney over the summer. Had friends from England visit for 2 weeks and DH was down for a week as well. Now have to find airfare to fly north for the end of the month and then get ready to sail on the Magic is just under 4 weeks. Also, need to pay for DD's first semester at college and then buy books.....ugh.....I have a feeling the books will cost more than the courses. :sad2:

I dont know if I can wait 5 months. I set up all night last night to track the Fantasy into Port Canaveral thin today I packed my overnight toiletries today and my finger nail bag for the cruise, then I went and watched the Fantasy sailout of Port Canaveral. The cruise itch is getting bad at my house.:sail::badpc:

Here too! I hope the time passes quickly!

They usually do!

Well, because the sinus infection wasn't enough, I had to get a stomach flu, too! For better or worse, it arrived half an hour after we finished our anniversary dinner. Since my husband had the same things I did (we sampled everything the other person had!), I know it wasn't the food, though it might have been my stomach saying "yeah, next time, no."

Alright, it's been forever since I posted a question for everyone to answer... but since it's coming up...

HOW WILL YOU PASS THE TIME BEFORE OUR CRUISE?!

As I said on Facebook, between now and the end of January, we have:
-DH's birthday on August 27th
-start of the academic year (that's just for me, though!)
-trip to Atlanta
-a couple of football games: one pro, one college
-trip to NY for me (New York Sheep & Wool)
-trip to Salt Lake City for DH (business)
-Thanksgiving & his parents' 40th anniversary
-Christmas w/my parents
-my birthday
-FINALLY, THE CRUISE!

(We're also thinking of going to Universal Studios on this trip. Whoa.)

Well, now that we're truly committed to the cruise...

it's just the two of us and we're staying near the airport area. We are figuring we'd just use DCL transportation to the ship.

However, if someone else (another family, or whatever!) would like to share a private transportation with us, please let me know! We used one last time and it was lovely. I felt a lot less like herded cattle, since I just got to swan onto a private van.

For two of us, though, it's just cheaper to use DCL. Once you add another person or two, then it's cheaper to go private!

Hello everybody ...I hope that everybody has a island day.:beach: Today is the first day of my DD co-op school and I am going to try to have a island day (we will see how that goes). :wizard: New up date... a friend seen my FE gifts and told me that people would not think that they were home made (wow):woohoo:. I was so happy, since this is my first FE I want my gift to be good. I want people to take them home and use them after the cruise and be reminded of all the fun thing about their cruise. I have our FE logo just about done I will PM it to all of the people that have joined our FE group. Thanks all for signing up for our FE group, we will have a good group (this I pray for).
