ok, where did i leave off? oh, dining!anyway, animators plate was wonderful with the color show....really entertains the kids and keeps them on their toes watching. food was awesome!!we did get the "excellent" speech about 3 x"s during the week. i knew it was coming, so it didnt bother me, but dh was like"ok, with the excellent. whats up with that? they are excellent, but why keep questioning us on excellent?can they use any other word besides excellent, like superb, great, etc?"i explained about the comment cards and the importance of them, then he got it!we also met out head dining server, nadgee (i think from england) who was great with the kids.
let me tell you how special our servers were....my baby time to scream and demand to be held is usually dinnertime. so, like clockwork, everytime my entree came, its "go"time for olivia. anyway, by night 3, slyvester figured out on his own that olivia doesnt want mommy to eat her entree, so he would bring out my plate with all of my food cut up in bite sized pieces. isnt that sweet?
they knew by day 3 what we drank, how we liked our meat cooked, what my picky 4 year old liked
,i mean, that is impressive! they knew our names, asked about chicago,just blew us away!again.
parrot cay was cute!!!we loved the character breakfast. the servers kept things livly with napkins flying, singing, every 5 minutes a new character! we have some awesome shots!
, bring your cameras!it was chip, dale, goofy, pluto, minnie, and of course, the man, the big cheese, mickey!
we never made it to lumiiers, those were the palo nights. i need about an hour to tell you about palo. ill touch on that one in a bit.
formal and semi formal were fun!im pleased to say, MOST people dressed nice. not starting a war here, but there was a few that that were clueless enough to come to formal eve in a tshirt with wrinkled khakis, a woman wearing a terry-cloth bathing suit cover-up dress!and flip-flops!
she drew attention to herself by not following "dress code" . its not my buisness, i dont worry about it, but if you dont want to dress acordind to the "suggested attire", trust me, go to topsiders, cuz this woman felt very out of place and uncomfortable.
