Got my cruise docs last night! Question for everyone? Is it too late to join the fish extenders? And if not, what do I need to do? I have cruise with Disney 3 times before and always wanted to do it but never really asked anyone. I am trying to get excited for our cruise because I just found out I had a miscarriage (I was at 12 weeks) and I have surgery scheduled next Wednesday, a week before we head out for the cruise! Anyway, we are bummed but figured it probably happened for a reason. Plese let me know about the fish extenders and what I need to do to join and such. Thanks!

Not too late to join, I don't think. The more the merrier as far as I am concerned...I think we may just need you names and cabin number to ad to our list. I hope I am not speaking out of turn here...

I am sorry for your loss. I hope the vacation gives you a good reason to smile thru the tough times. You have a little angel watching over you now...

Got our docs today!!! I really have to get my butt in gear and get ready for this vacation. I have 2 suitcases out of the closet, does that count? (OK, they're still there from our weekend away after Christmas but can it count anyway??). I've thought about packing too so that must count for something. I hope our summer clothes still fit!

well, Linda, as long as you are thinking about it, it counts! As long as it is not the "wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat I -must-not-forget-such-and-such"

We got our cruise documents today also...very exciting for all of us.
I can't believe how close we are. Getting worried about having everything ready now. I did finally find the swim suit behind all the snow stuff here. Glad that I could find enough swim suits that fit the boys. Can't wait for the sun!
Looking forward to meeting everyone and wishing everyone good health and happiness and not too much craziness until then.

Can you get us your INFO pretty quick??? Need all in stateroom- especially kids' names ages. And which stateroom?

Let's say the holidays have hampered my working out. I almost died on my treadmill at the gym yesterday. I call it the "bumblebutt" feeling

Oh, and anyone else's significant other tired of hearing about this cruise? Everytime I make a comment about the upcoming trip, DH just gives me a lame smile and asks why I can't just "live in the moment"... perhaps because the "moment" involves cooking dinner, cleaning up and going to the gym??? Men. nuff said!

Please do join the exchange. Make it as simple as you want. It's all meant for fun and you won't be graded . I kind of wish I would have just decorated a tote bag, because I'm not sure I love what I did do...oh well, it's done now (almost)! I quickly found out that sewing pockets is not a specialty of mine, so I only have one!

modlin 1024, my heart was breaking for you as I was reading your post. I am so sorry for what you are going through.


I can add you to the FE list, please just post your cabin # and who will be in your cabin, also ages of children. And as disney kat said keep it simple, this is a vacation do whatever you feel like doing.


Just wanted to ask if we are all still in agreement that we will finalize all the FE stuff at 10 days out? Please if you are signed up for the FE exchange don't forget to vote on how you would like to do it.

I think I might end up with a tote bag, decorated or not!! There is So much to do to get ready! I do have all the gifts ready, now I need to try and fit them in the luggage somewhere, that should be fun!

As far as the gifts go, I don't think it has to be anything big? You just give what you want, it's all for fun!! Glad you are joining.

My husband is also tired of hearing it, he never has much to say about vacations, as that is my area and he just wants to go and have me tel him what's going on, but at this point he is glad that he is already in the States and doesn't have me calling him at work to mention something else about it!!

I am So excited, 48 hours and I will be at the airport waiting to leave!!

The whole reason we decided to cruise was because I miscarried in October. I was 11 weeks. I had a d&c too....it's not too bad. But I needed something to look forward to, and this is definately it. I'll be thinking of you! I'm sending you good vibes!

Thanks for the good vibes! I am sorry for your loss as well. This cruise is just what we need. I can't wait to see the sun after being in darkness most of the winter so far! Is anyone staying at WDW or Orlando before or after the cruise?

We're flying down ont he friday before the cruise and spending one night around the airport then back to the airport to get the transfer over-- (i don't want to mess with a rental car)

then afterwords, we are doing just one night at Pop after, because it was cheaper to fly home on Sunday, even with the one night @ Pop.

I couldn't agree more. I think they will need it MORE than my daughter. Sounds like her little one (and the whole family) has been through a lot and some extra special magic could be just what the doctor ordered.

Also tw2123- it looks like the voting has reached a point where we can make a decision. the majority picked 3 families/4 nights starting Saturday night. Would you mind dividing everyone up so we know which day we are delivering? If anyone has a problem with their night- just post it here and we'll try to make a change??? How does that sound?

Someone on another board posted that accuweather is forecasting possible snow flurries on Jan. 24.

I don't know "weather" to or
