Hey, we're on at the same time! :flower: So now I don't feel so bad about my "stupid" question!

Yes it is almost 11 here, but this is my only quiet time of the day without kids!!

This is my laundry and quiet time too, though my little one has been coughing nonstop now. Last night I popped the trundle and slept in there--though of course I didn't sleep. Felt like I was awake all night. The night before I my son had a migraine and threw up. Doing well around here this week! I will be in bed soon so that I can make it through the day tomorrow.

Yep....that sounds like my house. Runny noses, coughs, etc. Many nights of sleeping on the couch! It's worth it though!
;)

Alvaro,
Tell your wife, she did a great job, everything looked terrific. We had a Halloween party too, but everybody brought a dish and some beer/drink so I did not have to do much. We played lots of fun games though. If you ever need any ideas let me know. They were more adult games like the newlywed game, dress your spouse, belly dancing etc. :goodvibes

Liked the adult games idea... :cool1: We should probably try some of those next year... should be fun with the theme we already picked (pirates) pirate:

:rotfl2: Was hoping I wasn't too mean there and you'd still be talking to me. :rotfl:

Love the Halloween pictures. Looks like a great party! I think I would like the recipe for those creepy fingers if Marisel wants to share it. We usually have a kids' Halloween party and they would love those. Thanks for sharing the pictures!

... I forgive you... :love2: :rotfl2:

The party was a lot of fun. I'll tell Marisel to give me the recipe so I can share.

Great pictures! I love that everyones costumes were themed together! Great idea!

Did I mention we already picked next year's theme? ... pirate:

We started doing this last year... we had "witches and warlocks"

I've been checking in on the DIS boards practically everyday since June. I've been wondering since then, and now I'm asking all of you--How you pronouce "DIS"? :confused3

Do you say "dis" as in discussion?
Or do you say "dizz" as in Disney?

I would ask this question on the main board, as I'm sure many people also wonder, but I'd much rather look like a fool to you all (since I feel I already know you!)!

LOL, you should post this one. One of my favorite threads was on how to pronounce Bonine. It was so fun to read!

FWIW, I say "DIZ" like Diz-ney. :)

Boy, you people are REALLY making me wonder about this cruise.....first, my "buddy" is really a vampire, :earseek: and now you all are sick all the time......sheesh!!!

Any "normal" people out there?!?!?!?!? :goodvibes

Oh, yeah! I pronounce it "diz".....who knows if its right or not!?! :confused3

Whew! Glad you forgive me. And just how many times are you willing to do that? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Tell Marisel she is very talented with the Halloween food. :)

Well, that's a relative term now, isn't it? :rotfl:

Oh yeah....and I'm not one to be the yardstick....... :teeth:

WOW....people are on in the morning. We'll make sure we leave the runny noses at home. Unfortunately, my kids inherited my allergies that are set off in the spring and fall with the weather changes. Nothing to be alarmed about with the exception that we will think the weather is warm when we get to Florida in January and you will likely be cold. We will be used to 10-20 degrees, snow and ice. We can being some mittens for you. LOL. :rotfl2: JK!!!!!!! Hope everyone has a great day.

Thanks Amanda! You would be the expert after over 4 years and over 6000 posts! ;)

Teehee I am no expert! Every other DISer that I have ever met says DIZ....but that just sounds so funny!

Couldn't take it... I had to post it on the main board. No names were mentioned. :rotfl:

Here's the link: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=955558

I'm glad you did this! It gave me a good laugh :rotfl: --esp at this time when my son and I are at odds over his grizzly bear book report poster! He takes after me--as a procrastinator. Double procrastination is not a good combo!

Diz to me sounds funny too (sorry Melissa!), but it does make more sense with this being a Disney board.

You will always be an "expert" in my eyes! :3dglasses
