I think that it is fabulous that Mary Weber is part of our little thread! It saves me the stress of looking for the Citiwalk restaurants that I have been holding out for. Now I am really hoping that they will offer the Melting Pot again. I absolutely love that place.

Did anyone see the upcoming restaurant for the last week of April? It is for the luau at the Royal Pacific.

What have you heard about the luau? I read the description on the ClearChannel website and was thinking that it sounded fun but I have not ever heard of it before today.

Hi...for all of you who ordered...there was a problem with UPC codes...don't understand and the certficates did not go out until yesterday.

How much does it cost to eat per person at the hotel luau . If it is to expensive it would not be worth it. And it would have to be a 50 dollar certificate for me to be interested at all.

I went to the website to check out the Luau - it is only Fri, Sat nights (BUMMER!) and is normally $49.50/person, so I assume will be $25/1 person with the GC.

Hi Mary, I hope you're right. I email clear channel and they wrote back today and said my Motown GC was mailed on 4/12, making it officially lost in the mail. If you're correct in being shipped yesterday, there's still a chance I may get it before our trip in less than a week. The last day I could possibly get it in time would be Tuesday the 27th, since we have an early AM flight on the 28th. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. What do I do if it does not arrive before we leave, especially since I allowed more than the time allocated (7-10). I order on the 9th and the latest it could be received is the 27th--seemed like enough time (18 days). Does this mean I'm out of luck?

i have just read things at the universal site and it sounded like something fun to do- just rather expensive

As far as the Luau is concerned, it's a $100.00 GC for $50.00, so 2 people can go.

Hi Mary, that is who I sent my email to about not receiving my Motown Cert. yet. . It was the email at the bottom of my confirmation. They did reply quickly (within 24 hrs). I have since replied again.

I think I may just jump on the luau certificates. Would I be able to order 2 certificates and use them the same night? We would need to both to pay for all 4 of us. The kids are 12 and 14.

Are the certificates for the luau only good for the show or can you eat there using the certificates any other night? I am going to call but I am assuming that it is a full service restaurant in addition to a show/dinner type experience? What do you guys think?

these certificates are for the luau- i don't believe you could use them for any other time at the restaurant

Mary, thank you for being so helpful - its great to get info direct from the source! Unfortunately I haven't been able to buy any more as they keep declining my cards. Although I get them shipped to a friend in Texas because my billing address is in Scotland they won't accept it - very annoying as I would love the Luau certificates.

The shipping out of the country isn't the problem as they go to my friend in texas - it's just the problem with them not recognising billing addresses from the UK. I must have got through by accident the first time. Thank you for passing the comments on though as I know a lot of people would love to buy them.

Well, since there will probably not be anymore CityWalk restaurants before my trip (Aug.) and most of the others expire before we go, I decided to order a Latin Quarter certificate yesterday. I personally always thought the menu looked good, but no one here really talks about this place much. Is it good?

Hello Mary:

By reading through this thread I see that there are no City Walk properties planned soon.
What about the hotels themselves ?? (re: Royal Pac, Hard Rock)
Other than the certificate for "The Kitchen" (which still show on some station sites) are any of these locations appearing in the future? We're traveling early June (7-11)

BTW Thanks for the program. I already purchased Pat O'Briens and can't wait to get there and use them.
