$1.19 bagged Lego sets at Target!

I picked up 10 packs today, I also got 4 $5 gift cards, they come with lego set that can be built into 3 diff holiday animals. Very cute stocking stuffer.I think i might get them for the kids gift exchange at school also.

That is a nice idea. I bet the kids will love them. I'm giving the Legos as gifts to some kids I know too.

Went today in Austin, TX (near 183 and Cap. of TX) and they were ringing up full price ($3.99). They were almost totally sold out though, so I wonder if someone else came in and nearly cleaned them out, and so they noticed that it was something that shouldn't really have been marked down?

Nope. Sounds like they restocked with non-clearanced items.

Thanks for sharing this! On Monday we picked up 12 at the Nashua/DFW highway, NH Target! 3 for my son and the rest for toys for tots! They didn't have any star wars ones, but they had the others...

I like the idea of gifting with the 5$ lego card!!

I was able to get a bunch last night. I went to the Target that no one goes to anymore since they built a new one a few miles away. It looked like I was the only one who knew about the deal. I got 20 of the Atlantis, City, an Ninja lego sets. I am going to visit 3 more stores today (we have a ton of Targets in the area) and see if I can find the Star War sets. Thanks again for posting this GREAT find! I know lots of children that are going to be happy this year.

I had to return an time to Target this morning so while I was in there....:rotfl: of course I had to check. Our store still had quite a few, although no Star Wars again or the Lego City ones. I grabbed about 5 more and I always scan before getting in line and this time they scanned, "Item not found". I said, uh oh! :rotfl2:

I didn't catch them at the $0.39 - I got mine for $1.19 which was still a great deal. I took them with me to the register and mentioned this to her and she gave them to me for $0.39. I found a Kingdoms back with the Xmas stuff and my DS will love it but of course it was $3.99 so I told her it was NOT $0.39 and I think she was shocked at my honesty because I told her to charge me full price for that one. I just believe in karma :)

Good luck hunting but it looks like they might be adjusting the prices now.

Yup, that's exactly what I was expecting. The Legos were running concurrently with the Halloween clearance. That was supposed to be salvaged last night (ie, sold to Goodwill), so now the Legos are coming up item not found. Just FYI to anyone looking for them, Target might not sell the Item Not Found items. You never know, but I've been denied before with holiday clearances.

Ours had a ton on Monday, but they are all gone now. So either the word got out and they sold out, or they pulled them off the shelves because the rest of the Halloween stuff has been pulled, as well. They had Toy Story and Lego Kingdom sets back with the Christmas stuff, so it will be interesting to see if those get marked down after Christmas.

Was at Target this morning. They had 3 left. All scanned as "Item Not Found" and they would only sell them to me at the last known price which was $3.99. I only bought one since it was a helicopter for a Aviation themed charity tree that we are decorating. Just wanted everyone to know.

Ours had them all pulled, except the Toy story and Ninja ones that were scanning at $3.99. Most of racks were completely empty! Did see some Harry Potter ones in the Christmas section. Hopefully they will be around for the after Christmas sale!

so I went a got several handfuls to use for the nephews stockings etc and when my DH saw them...his eyes got big....and he said in a sheepish voice " I want some in my stocking too...these are COOL!...." and smiled.

so don't forget your DH's stocking.....:rotfl2:

If you can get them to use the lrt handheld scanning gun, the can look up the last selling price that way which should show the $0.39 price. Unfortunately that is going to be very ymmv since most stores will likely refuse and not be convinced it was part of the Halloween clearance and just say they are $3.99.

I have no use for Legos, but I wanted to thank the OP for sharing this info with everyone else here..:thumbsup2 Looks like all of them are going to go to good use - from party favors - to stocking stuffers - to children in need..

Way to go, OP!!!!!!!

You will have made some kids very, very happy!!

They did use the handheld device and they came up $0.00. That is why they had to go to the price on the metal hangar. :sad1:

I'll remember that if I stop at another Target. (And if they have any.) I lucked out because while I was looking through the racks and older gentleman cashier said, "Good luck, someone came in yesterday and bought a whole bunch at 39 cents, there's probably not many left!" There were a bunch of Ninjago and a couple Star Wars. Then some Toy Story ones that rang up as 3.99 at the price checker. When I was ready to check out, the man who was talking to me was arranging carts, so I went to a different cashier. When the first one rang up as price not found, he asked if they were from the checkout area. I said yes, but that they were the 39 cent clearanced ones. He entered both those Star Wars ones at that price, but when he saw the 2 Ninjago ones he motioned to the display and said, "These are 3.99." I said no, that they were the clearanced ones too. I guess he didn't want to argue. :lmao: I figured I had the other cashier as backup, or I could point out that the ones that are 3.99 actually ring up as 3.99.

Anyway, thanks for starting this thread OP! I wish I would've looked when I was at Target at the end of last week. I went in to check the price of soda and I did one of those "Hmmm, wasn't there something else I was supposed to pick up here?" but didn't remember til I came home and got on the DIS. :rotfl:

Just FYI, this deal was posted all over the Internet yesterday. If you didn't get them yet you're probably out of luck.

This is what happened to me tonight. Found quite a few still on the racks at checkout, but scanned price and they came up "item not found". service counter employee used hand held checker...first price $3.99, last price $0.00. She said I could pay full price and that was my only choice. She told me they would be pulled from the racks and donated within a few days, no markdowns at all on them at our store(s)

I don't think this was mentioned yet...

Check your bags for coupons for Legoland! The Ninjago and Lego City packs have a coupon for "Free Child Ticket with paid adult ticket to Legoland California or Legoland Discovery Center". In small print it says Legoland Discovery Center Chigago... Exp 12/31/11 Some coupons are on the outside of the bag and others are on the instructions inside the bag. I was hoping it would still work for any Discovery Center, someone else read it and let me know what you think!
