Houzer and I are finally doing the doc dance. We received our docs a few hours ago.

All this dancing is giving me a back ache!! <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008_ZSYYYYYYYYUS' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/5/5_1_120.gif' border=0></a> <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008_ZSYYYYYYYYUS' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/5/5_1_125.gif' border=0></a>

I will really be dancing when the kids go back to school next week!! :cheer2: I love them, really I do, but having them all home together with the FREEZING temps outside has made for a tough winter break. Half the time I feel like a referee!! I am looking forward to back to normal next week, that's when I'll get my act together and start packing!!

Kelli :cool1:

Oh Kelli, I'm right there with ya at doing a cheer on Monday when school is back in! I'm counting the days. About my guys:
Z is 6 1/2-my brainy guy. Loves Pokemon and Yu-gi-oh, chess, board games (is a Monopoly addict right now-gotta buy those hotels!), and computer/video games. Also likes swimming and soccer
J, 4, likes anything that Z does, but has a HUGE imagination. He likes Rescue Heroes, puzzles, and is really gonna love the clubs.
It's getting exciting now!

Sydne--

Tell your four year old that my four year old, Jason (aka Jay) LOVES Rescue Heroes. He was more excited about getting the Rescue Heroes Hyper Jet for XMas than the cruise!

We are looking forward top finally attaching faces to names.

By the way, ahev you noticed that I am in single digits!!! :jumping1:

Way too scary a count for me!-8 days! Whew!

I still am gathering together dress shoes, shirts, socks, and pants for the boys! Ones that fit that is! They've all grown since September and things are running tight!

My 6 year old is also into Yu-gi-oh, although I wasn't planning on bringing his cards. Unlike my oldest, he watches alot of Cartoon Network and most of his Christmas was Teen Titan based.

I will get my docs next week. Little nerve-racking but there it is. I'm getting a little anxious about driving a rental car now.

I came on here from my MIL and say you all talking about packing and I haven't even started that I had to pack all winter gear first then when I get home deal with all that stuff and then start packing again for summer stuff...ugh!! Please all send picksy dust this way and good thought because I HATE packing since I seem to do so much of it....How is the weather at our ports etc? Anyone hears as of yet? I haven't had a change to check yet? Pauline

:rockband: :rockband: :rockband: :boat:

I just checked the weather in Grand Cayman and today it's 80 degrees with rain showers. Cozumel is 81 degrees.
No documents yet. I guess they go to our TA first and then to us. The waiting is tough. My DH thinks I'm crazy waiting for the phone to ring.
What's everyone doing in Key West?? We still aren't sure. We will probably just do alittle shopping.

Pauline- I don't know.... for some reason I think it won't be so bad packing for nice sunny MID 80's WEATHER!! that's right! When I checked accuweather- it said our weather will be in the mid to high 80's while we cruise. And I didn't see any rain clouds on those pics either! WOOHOOOOO!!! It did, however, say it would be humid.

I'll take humid any day!! I'm psyched because usually when we go to Disney World in January, it is not that warm. It looks like the weather in Florida next week is going to be beautiful!!

By the way, we got the remainder of our docs today!! :cool1: :cool1:

I usually don't mind packing......until I tried on 15 pairs of shorts yesterday on my DS6 and found out that only 4 still fit. However, he has 4 bathing suits that still fit. Hopefully the weather will be good and he can live in his swimsuits.....I can't believe how fast these kids grow. My DD12 only has 3 pairs of shorts from last summer that fit as well.

joycepa....looks like we will be shopping for shorts in key west.

Last time we were in Key West we rented one of those electric golf cart/car. It's a great way to see Key West and my son had a ball being my navigator in the front passenger seat. Here's aphoto and a link...Mark

Our second set of docs just arrived today (we are travelling with family - this was their set). The first set showed up on Christmas Eve, so they must be sending them out in bunches.

We will have two 4 1/2 y.o. boys in our group - my son and his cousin. So, from this thread, that's at least 4 little boys who can "meet" and play in the Oceaneer's Club.

My other son is 12, and not too sure if he wants to "hang out" with the younger kids in Oceaneer's Lab. So if anyone has a DD or DS 12 that would like to "meet" my DS (email or IM) before the cruise, please PM me.

My son's only 10, but I saw older kids in the Lab last time. If he's into computer games, the lab has a huge range for computer and nintendo. They also have one nintendo hooked up to a huge screen TV, which my son loved! He should at least check it out once!

Thanks pershing! My 12 yo does like video games, and sports, and travelling, and girls... typical boy! :) He makes friends easily, so I am hoping he can find a few kids to hook up with. He is also a very responsible kid, so we won't have a problem with him signing himself out to go play in the sports area or see a movie.

hey all, how was everyones christmas.

just a reminder, the cruise meet is in the club called "sessions". we meet on sunday from 10:00-11:00am. thats right b4 we land at key west. and all are welcomed to come,
only 2 weeks away.

Hey,

I was just checking the rate on Budget.com for a car if we had to leave a day earlier (yes, I obsess about these things!) and I noticed that it was lower than my actual reservation. So, I just booked a new res. duplicate to my original one for less money FROM the airport to CC5 Cocoa Beach. The rates FROM Cocoa Beach have gone up so don't mess with those.

I had read that the Florida Tourism board was going to ask for lower car rental prices after the Hurricane Season in this article. So maybe they did lower them.

Anyway, the new res. has a time change for the Cocoa Beach office. Instead of 7-5 its now 8-5. May be significant for those of us racing off the boat.

Hi everyone...we're back! A day earlier then we planned on but we figured we would come now so that we can beat the traffic and get a head start on getting a pile of little things done around here. The boys don't know it yet but tomorrow they are going to start trying on all their summer cloths. I am sure you'll hear them screaming all the way where you live because it is NOT one of their favorite things to do. I figured if they try them on while I am doing laundry from our trip we can get things freshened up if needed. How has everyones Christmas and New Years been?
Can I get a copy of where the picture that was taken of their kids on Christmas day getting their surprise cruise...sorry I don't remember who did that? I don't know how you kept it a secret for so long.

Pauline
