1/10/09- EARLY Roll Call! Who's coming?

Wow, guys, it really is getting closer! The kids and I watched the cruise dvd and made a 100 day count down chain, and they can start taking down the chain this week! Our dd turns 3 the 1st day of the cruise, so the last chain is a special pink one for her. She tells everyone "I'm goin' to see Minnie Mouse on my burt-day". She is just potty-trained, hoping she will really get it mastered by trip time!
Does anyone know yet which excursions they will be doing? We are trying to finalize plans. We got the REAS package, so we booked a brunch at Palo for Thurs., but bec. we had to have 2 staterooms, we could'nt book excursions or anything else yet. So we are really hoping excursions aren't all booked up at 75 days! Have fun planning!

Lattemom- just noticed you have a 9 year old girl! YEAH! My daughter would love to meet her before we cruise. Please let me know if you are interested. As for excursions we are looking at wandering Key West on our own-want to see Turtle Kraal, pier and Hemingway's house, hubby and I will dive in Grand Cayman in the morning and take kids to the beach in the afternoon, are checking into a combo snuba/scuba morning in Cozumel and Chakanaab in the afternoon and booked the 4in1 thing on the Cay.

Thanks so much. I saw you added us. I only have two kids though not 3-trust me I have 26 more at school so my 2 is perfect =). My son is 11 and my daughter will be 9 when we sail.

So if I understand this correctly... I check the FE list after December 15th to get a count of who we will be FE'ing with. Then pack trinkets to leave in their pockets??? Do I plan to do everyone on the list once, a few times, every day?? I saw some pics on another thread of some items others had received in their FE pockets. I saw some really cute ideas. By the way, thanks for replying so quickly. I am SO excited!!! I just downloaded the passporter clues e-book and read the entire thing! I thinkit was well worth my $4.00. Had lots of great tips. Thanks again!

We finally narrowed down and booked our excursions, again. LOL! As of today, we are on our own in Key West, Snuba in Cozumel and we are doing the Island Tour and Sting Rays in Grand Cayman. I'm still a little leery of how cold the water temp will be on my poor body doing any water activities.

My wife and I cruised in Jan 2005, and the water was great!! We did some ocean activities in Couzmel and Honduras, no problems!!

Hello, just jumping in here. My family and I will be joining you on the Jan 10th western and we couldn't be more excited. We are big Disney fans and this is our 1st Disney cruise. The wife and I have been on a couple other cruises, but our boys have never been on one and can't truly comprehend what they are in for! We are DVC members at SSR as well and can't wait to get back there too. So much Disney, not enough time! The boys are 13 and 11 and I think they'll be open to meeting other kids as that shy thing wears off pretty quickly with them.

To let you know how anxious I am to get onboard...I just ordered a snow plow for my truck. Get me outta here!

We live in Wisconsin and they have travel warnings for the La Crosse area due to a "wintry mix". Ok, no more snow talk! We must concentrate on the adventures that lie ahead.

I did get the personalized nametag magnets made by Tom posted on another thread and they turned out great. Now I just hope they look that good when I print them out. I think I may do a few other magnets too. Might as well do out first one up right.

Oh I'm sure they don't look at girls in "that" way! At least that's what we want to think! I'm sure they will become buddies, they tend to make friends really easily. My 13 yo just mentioned the other day that he hopes he gets to make some new friends. I'm really looking forward to seeing their reactions to the experiences on the ship. They've done a good amount of travelling, but not like this.

Thanks for the reassurance! We are so ready to kick back and relax!
Usually we travel with at least 28-30 other people. This will be our first cruise alone, and my DH's first Disney.

I seem to recall somewhere someone was looking to share a limo to the port. If this person is still looking for co-riders, let me know. There will be four of us. Does anyone know how much they charge?

Welcome all new cruisers!

On my way to work Monday morning, It was snowing/sleeting in mid-Michigan. So I made lemonade out of lemons. I listened to Jimmy Buffet on Margaritaville satellite radio.

Is anyone planning on going or already booked an excursion to Nachi Cocom Beach Club in Cozumel? Carla and I have booked this excursion and one way taxi fare to this resort is $15 for up to 4 people. If anyone wants to share a cab, let me know. This excursion is not available through DCL.

Two months from today we will be on the Magic!
