Where do you look to see how full the ship is?

I looked on both Travelocity and on Disneycruise.com. Just start ordering up a cruise and chose 10 JAN 09.

We will be cruising in Jan too. I will be cruising with three adults and three children.

Is there a posting that lists all of us who are cruising?

We booked 2 CAT 10's on the 2nd Deck with connected rooms. We are hoping that these two inside cabins will make up for a lack of porthole or verandah. It will be our poor man's version of the Walt Disney suite.

Can't wait to go cruisin. Just got to get past those pesky Holidays.

Post #56 has the current fish extender group list. That is about all we have for 'who' is going. Not a very full ship at this point from what we can all tell.
Maybe we will all get upgraded to family suites!

I was just killing some time while waiting for a phone call and on deck 5, from what I can tell, there are only 4 or 5 cat 11 rooms booked. All the rest are available. I didn't do any other decks, but if that is any indication, we might be sailing on a pretty empty ship. Maybe I will get that early dining I was hoping for after all!

When should we expect our docs to arrive?

Cruise docs start arriving approximately between 3-5 weeks pre cruise date. If you didn't book air travel with DCL, it's easy to download the cruise docs on the website.

OK I did it! Made our own fish extender out of Disney material with all the cars, trucks,etc. Two pockets - total cost -under $6 ! I am soo proud of myself since I'm really not the do-your- own- thing kind of person.

We got upgraded twice on the other Disney Cruise and went from an inside to an outside room. This time I've started with an outside so my guess is that it will stay the same.

We have early dining and I hope they put us with some other people rather than just have the two of us alone.

Are we going to try to all meet sometime on our own or does Disney do this like Royal Caribbean and Celebrity? Do we need to sign up somewhere? I'm really hoping to meet some of you with the 6-8 year old boys so MJ will see a familiar face. He is rather shy (but only at first) and after he gets the lay of the land, there is no stopping him.

We are first time Disney cruisers. I would love to get on Lollipop's Fish list. I'm not sure what it is yet but it sounds like fun so please add us to #56. I don't know how to add myself- if I even can? I don't do forums well yet and am learning the codes so please bear with me as I give you the info the old fashioned way. Husband 39, me 40, 2 kids= boy 11 & girl 8 (will be 9 a few days before we cruise) We would love to "meet" others cruising. My kids have been bugging me to get on with the chatting. They read about the forums in our passporter book and want desperately to "meet" other kids. Any tips any of you can give would be greatly appreciated. We are so excited. I have booked a few things and am looking at a semi private dive in Cozumel. Kids would snuba while husband and I scuba. Also interested in Chakanaab. We have a 2 tank booked for Grand Cayman and kids want to stay in the lab for the morning. I am looking forward to meeting all of you!

Do you have any measurements for the FE? I'm not sure how big to make it and it is hard to tell from the 2 pictures I found. Also do you do door magnets? I saw some in a picture somewhere else.

Check them out on ebay as well. Mine is 22" long and 9" wide for 2 of us. They have big pockets and could go smaller for more family!

Thanks so much. I saw you added us. I only have two kids though not 3-trust me I have 26 more at school so my 2 is perfect =). My son is 11 and my daughter will be 9 when we sail.

So if I understand this correctly... I check the FE list after December 15th to get a count of who we will be FE'ing with. Then pack trinkets to leave in their pockets??? Do I plan to do everyone on the list once, a few times, every day?? I saw some pics on another thread of some items others had received in their FE pockets. I saw some really cute ideas. By the way, thanks for replying so quickly. I am SO excited!!! I just downloaded the passporter clues e-book and read the entire thing! I thinkit was well worth my $4.00. Had lots of great tips. Thanks again!

Would your daughter 9 like a posting buddy? Not sure how to go about this. I tried to send directly to you but it said I hadn't posted enough yet?? My daughter is 8 but will be 9 a few days before the cruise. She is very excited to meet others who will be on our trip.

I don't know about ocean temps. But, we were in FL this past January and it was HOT the first week and 70s the second week. Didn't keep my kids from swimming, but it did me!

I figure it's so much further south than FL, for those of us from MI, it's going to feel warm enough to swim! Hope you can join us!

Jennifer- I noticed you have a son 11. Me too. We are 1st time Disney cruisers and my son would love to chat with yours before we leave.

Hello everyone again! Just a note to say "Hi!" and to see if everyone is still as excited as I am about this cruise! We booked Palo for dinner and booked our excursions recently.
A couple of weeks ago, we returned from Carnival Glory, and had to replace our stop in St. Martin with Grand Turk, due to Hurricane Omar. It turned out to be a beautiful beach day so we were happy.
One of our excursions for this cruise is Snuba and I must admit that I am a little leery. Has anyone tried this before? I'm scared that I will want to pop to the surface before I am supposed to and you can bet your sweet patooties, if I see a shark I will be walking on water!

Hi- tiggerlover. Haven't tried snuba myself but I have read hours on it lately. We are thinking about letting the kids snuba while DH & I scuba in Cozumel. There are lots of reviews etc online. I didn't find a single one that was not raving! I even tried e-pinion and expedia and all reviews were extremely positive. We are also interested in Chakanaab as I saw someone else mention. SO EXCITED SO EXCITED SO EXCITED
