OK ... are we all egged out? Our Ham was great and had some realllly good fresh pineapple. Made me think of the ship of course.Just love that fresh fruit at Scoops!

Mike & Kathy .... Really worried about your daughter's B/P. How is she doing? Is it possible for her to stay with Mike during the day so he can make sure she is relaxing? Seems a little extra TLC could help her. Sending Pixie Dust and prayers your way.

Yesterday when I posted I was at a friends and the kids wanted to see a bunch of those "smiley things".

Howdy! Sounds like everyone's Easter was filled with lots of eggs whether you had little ones or not.

Patty! I want to see Panic Room, but want to know what happens before I go. (Yes, I am one of these kinds of people who reads the last page of the book and wants to know the secret ending of the movie...it helps me enjoy it so much more) So, would you maybe email me and tell me what happens in the movie?

And last night I switched back and forth between The Ten Commandments and TLC which had like five baby shows in a row. I NEVER watch these shows cause I have SEVERE labor anxiety and during pregnancy, Doc ordered me to avoid all shows of this nature...so I never watch them, but these were really good ones. Several stories were about twins or early babies. It was so amazing to watch how small these babies were and they did so well! My DD was a healthy 5 lbs 12 oz, just three days before her due date, and so I remember her being so tiny. But these babies were TINY. Ahh the wonders of modern medicine! I watched like 8 C-sections. Was amazing every single time. I was one of those who told me Doc that even if he had the inkling that this might possibly be the way to go, not to hesitiate. I was overboard on the far side of being super cautious so if there was any chance if distress I wanted him to do it! But it all worked out fine and I had your typical l & d. (too personal for some? sorry.)

K & M - Keep us up to date on how Katie and Stacey are doing.

The Ten Commandments - wow...was that one HOT movie. I don't remember growing up noticing how steamy it was for an old movie. It was so cool though. I am glad that this will be one movie that they will never remake (hopefully), and that we can remember it just the way it was!

Our friends who were on the 3/23 return home today! Can't wait to see their pics and such!

Getting a little nervous ... haven't seen Mike or Kathy post today. Just wondering how the daughter's B/P is over the weekend.

Saw an ad for the Florida Keys on tv ... to get a brochure and info, call 1-800-Last Key and they will ask you where you saw the ad ... Discovery Channel. I put my name in for some literature.

Anyone heard how the fire repairs are going on the Magic? Also heard that they may be changing the menu's for the Western?

WOW...What a weekend. We got so much done! The living room window is in and "trimmed in" the ceiling is done, walls almost (3 out of 4) Flooring is in!!! This means that my living room furiture is FINALLY OUT of my kitchen!
Elaine...don't say ANYTHING to my DH about a 1966 car..he has a 1966 Ford Pick up he has had for about 17 years. He has put 3 different engines in it. He loves his truck! I think it is a "southern man thing"!LOL
Mike and Kathy, keep us posted on Katie's status.

I am in full "recruiting mode"!!! I e-mail LadyGator to see if she was interested in joining or group. Unfortunatly, they are not going on the 9/28/02 trip (they had to cancel).

I also have seen Panic Room. I liked it very much. I am a big Jody Foster fan. Forrest Whitterker was very good also.

Mary, Mary, Mary and just how will you explain the hickey from the stingrays to your coworkers when you return? Congratulations on the home improvements!!! Stacey's bp is still high. Guess that I am going to have to restrain her with some rope or something.

I had a good rate on a room at the radisson in Kissimmee. $69.00 for the night of the 26th of September. Since we are driving down we will stop over there for the night. Do a day at the parks and then go to radisson at port canaveral. Upon our return we will go back to the radisson in kissimmee for 2 more days of fun at the wdw parks before we head back home. Mike

Just wondering ... How's Scarlet smelling these days? Kathy, Do you guys have any sprays at the hospital that may work ... We got a really good spray from the hospitals for our ambulance when we had a bad call ... worked great.

Stacey and I went to the doctor with DD1, Kathryn yesterday to see why she isn't with child too. And that is all I have to say about that. (Forrest Gump) Anyway the nurse took Stacey's BP sitting up it was, something/110 Lying down it was, something/65. I guess Katie was lying on (Help me out Mary) the inferior/superior vena cava? So today, it is Stacey's turn to go to the doctor for real. Why she felt it necessary to make the trip yesterday is beyond me. I really upset her when I fuss so I didn't say anything but let her see just what was what. She did admit to being tired and left afterwards with instructions to go to bed which she did.

Mike was not kidding when he said that he wanted to grab a kid so he could go through the kids' line last year. We both wanted chicken fingers and french fries for lunch and they wouldn't let us go through. I will try the room service this year if we get a hankering for chicken fingers. They do serve a mean pb and j.

Good news though, yesterday I went to Walmart and got the Freebreeze and DD1 sprayed the carpet heavily and we were able to ride with the windows up. Cathy, that is a great idea, if this stuff doesn't work I will go up the street to the firehall and ask them.

Stacey called me last night about a show on the Discovery channel They were filming the Labor and Delivery Dept. at Vanderbilt Hospital I watched to see if I knew anyone. Vanderbilt used to cover our hospital here. It is a city owned hospital. Anyway, the interns and residents saw things they never would see at the Wonderbilt. No one I knew was on. It was interesting to watch. I know I work in that anyway but it is great fun to watch the miracle of birth and watch those little ones pick up and go when you just know it is going to be really bad. No, I don't love my job. (Lies all of it lies, I LOVE my job.)

Kathy, it is actually the Hepatic Vein that gets compressed. Tell DD to always lie on her Left side. When an OB pt comes in with elevated BP we always repeat after getting mom to lie down on her left side.

So that is why they always made me Lie on my left side when I spent over 3 months in bed, INCUBATING, Mutt and Jeff. To this day I still sleep on my left side. Previous to mutt and jeff, I always slept on my stomach.......LOL. Not something you can do easily when it looks like you are carrying a 40 lb. watermelon.

I saw on one of the other threads that they had gotten rid of the chicken fingers at Pluto's and the natives got restless and wrote all kinds of letters, e-mails, etc to Disney and they changed then back to the chicken fingers we all love so much. Hey, Just cause we are adults dosen't mean we don't know a good chicken finger when we eat one! I agree they are reallllllly good, just add a nice dish of fresh fruit and voila .. lunch. Art likes the hot dogs .... why, I have no idea. I hope they don't change that little made-to-order pasta bar at Topsiders lunch either.

Now I'm wondering why they can't put iced tea by the ice water and coffee outside Topsiders ..... sure, you can have coffee anytime, why not iced tea? Anyone else vote for that?

Want to go back to WDW for a few days after the Cruise and really want to stay at Dixie Landing again. I think there is a discount if you use the Disney Club. I also heard that there is supposed to be on-board-credit of $50 if you are in the Disney Club. Gotta check with DU to make sure that noted that on my reservation.

Cathy let me know what price you come up with and we might change if you have a good rate at dixie landings or where ever. The rate for the two days when we get back is $79 per night. Guess that starts the beginning of the peak season, because it is 10 dollars cheaper in September. Mike

Goofynut: they are having fall fantasy again this year and the rates are out. We are booked for 4 days before the cruise. The rates aren't as good as last year but I guess that's why they call it inflation.

OK who told my dog to throw up on the carpet. I was on the phone with a claimant from work and I can see and hear my dog in the corner hacking. I wanted to die. Finally I put the call on hold and hustled her outside. Good grief it is an epidemic!

PowerAlaska - DH is a pilot and he and two partners own an Archer! On bad weather days, when I need to find him, he can be found GLUED to the new Discovery Wings Channel (it used to be SpeedVision) On good weather days, he is in the air!

Okay gang...it is date night and we are considering seeing Panic Room. Would appreciate a brief run-down. What happens...if anything bad happens to the kid...etc. Would so appreciate the heads up. klpace@chartermi.net

As far as sleeping preggers...I always sleep on my back and when I was preggers, and I would start out on my right side, and then roll onto my back in my sleep. DH would wake me up to make me roll over. I WOULD GET SOOOO MAD! (Admittedly, I was high-risk and he had every reason to be extra cautious.) But to wake me up!!!!! It was such a big fight between us, that Doc finally told DH to just leave me alone. This was the least of our worries, and Doc at least wanted to make sure I was getting a good night's sleep!

Prayers and pixie dust for both of Mike & Kathy's DDs!!!!
