Everyone at work is Soooo jealous, but they gave me hugs and well wishes for a fun trip. Busy day tomorrow, pedicure, pick-up tux, packing, and cleaning.
Hoping the weather clears, but have faith that the Magic and her crew will give us the trip of a lifetime!
Started getting sick yesterday, stuffy head, sore throat, etc. Hit up one of my docs for a prescription today, just in case.
Question: What happens to this thread while we are Cruising. Does it get shut down?
Well, gotta run, my laundry room is calling.

We wish all a safe and quick flight down to Port Canaveral. We will see everyone at the sail away party where ever that may be. Have to have it sometime, goodies for all to be had. We are also fighting something Barbara bad cold and I think I had a touch of food posioning or the flu. We will be better before we leave I promise. Drive and fly safe and everyone get well we have a party to go to. May not be on line too much till cruise is over so I want to thank everyone for making us feel at home with you all and makiing our countdown so enjoyable. Can't wait to meet everyone that we can. Still not packed. Instead of wearing same clothes, may just buy new each day. I promise Tomorrow will start. I have all the other chores done so can't delay it any more.

I am still preparing. I don't know how many trips I have made to walmart for this cruise. I still have to buy a couple of things tommorow. I am going to try to do the shirts tonight, I hope the tranfers come out okay. It will be a first for me. It is pretty windy here in South Florida, we are up to about 15 miles per hour now. I hope all the storms are dwindling by the time we cruise. If this is my last post, I hope everybody has a safe trip, and I look forward to meeting you all soon.

This is just nuts! I can't sleep. Don't want to work on laundry or vacuum cuz it will wake the kids up What else was there to do? You know you are on the dis boards too much when you go to your forum and there is nothing new to read!

I called my neighbors mom and dad this evening. They live in cocoa beach. In fact he works at the parking lot across from theDCL terminal. Said the weather had been nice! A little rain in the evenings. We are going to meet them for dinner at a place called Grills. They say they go there at least a couple of times a week. It is just down from the Radisson. just fyi in case anyone needs a place for dinner on Friday night.

Will try and get some sleep.Still lots more to do tomorrow. Elaine

Morning Everyone or Those that haven't started traveling!!!!

Last day of work for Vickie and I. We fly out tomorrow morning.

It is raining here and is expected to be raining harder tomorrow, so I am glad we will be headed to sunny (I hope) Florida.

Looking forward to the Sail Away Party, whereever it will be?

This will probably be the last post I will be able to get on, because I suppose I will have to pack tonight.

2 DAYS!

Kids are off to school, and I am busy getting last min. things done.

I just checked the weather chanel site and it looks like Lili will not be hitting the port while we are boarding!YIPEE!

We are watching the weather channel all the time; hope we are able to fly out of DC. National Airport tomorrow. Also hope we are able to go Western route; but what the heck, we would not mind Castaway Cay twice or Nassau or Freeport or whatever. We are all packed; just getting my real estate business work in order before I go.
Can't wait for this trip; only thing is I will miss my golden retreiver and siberian husky. They will be put in the Kennel with Doggy Daycare while we are gone.
It is raining here and hope we do not have to do a marathon drive to the Port if the plane will not leave.
Oh well, John grew up in Titusville, Florida, 1/2 hr from the port, so we know the driving route from Columbia, MD to the Port by heart. We have stayed at the Radison a dozen times.

The packing is almost complete, the house is clean (my parents are coming to stay with the boys) and the kitty litter has been changed.

We'll be leaving around 5 am to get the airport. Not a very long night but who's going to be able to sleep anyway?
