Congrats to the Pats fans for a great season.

We DVR'd the game so we could go back and watch the commercials. I had it on the flip so watched some of it, but I also watched some of the puppy bowl (too cute) as well as the food network.

I hope everybody had a great Sunday. Joan I will be the first one to admit the Giants deserve the win. The Giants out played the Pat's all afternoon especially on defense. Brady could't get anything started. His offenceive line didn't show and got out played.
On the other hand Joan if we had gotten to Manning on that sack with 58sec left the game it would have gone the other way. But it was the Pat's that made the mistake. As I said they deserve the win.
Tell Rog now football is over now we can think and talk RED SOX.
I hope everybody else had a great weekend. Kay I hope you enjoyed your new TV. We had a good time at my Son's house. His 52inch HD tv was great maybe someday Kay.
Mary I hope you and Mark had a good Weekend and it warms up.

Dan- you are so right- either team could have won. Poor Brady got beat up. Roger is in morning- He will get over it soon I hope. He did a lot of pacing the last few minutes of that game.

Some of those commercials were funny, some were weird. But fun and too much food was had by all.

looks like we all survived the game. LOL

Dan - I went to TIVO the game just to go back and watach the commercials.

I "thought" I recorded it.

I went back and started to see it and the prompt on the TV said that it didn't record.

The idiot people hooked the TV up wrong and it won't record.

BUT that is OK - Direct TV will be out on Wednesday morning to bring the HD dish and receivers and all will be OK then.

Heck, what do delivery men know. I can sure tell you that the two that delivered the TV were total idiots. Now I know for sure. They did put the right wire to the right input and output and whatever "puts" were supposed to be plugged in............ geez, I don't know either.

That's why I pay Direct TV extra for protection plan, so they can do it when needed.

** off topic:

I spoke with one of my friends at Disney last night. They are trying to get me to go to casting and work part time. You only need a certain number of hours a year to qualify and get the benefits. I told them I would think about it.

That means I would have to stay in Orlando for a number of weeks, say 2 at the time - twice a year, for work. I told them I would have to think about it. I have Shelby to think about right now

I'm not sure I have room for a Pirate - I'll have to check that out when I get back from the hospital and getting my lunch.


WELL, I think my short rein of thinking about going to Casting at WDW is short lived. The Director of the hospital callled me in this morning and talked to me about working on the books for the hospital as the Director's Assistant. YUCK!!!!!!!

To her great surprise, I came back with "but what about all my cruises?".

You should have seen the look on her face..

We both laughed and she said that I could go per diem and work around them until I decided to stop booking ahead. NOW HOW COULD I TURN THAT DOWN??

Holy Cross just bought another hospital district here in Ft. Lauderdale and that is why they called me in - looking ahead for the good employees for expansion.

I have plenty of time to think about it. I have been saying for about a year now that I came thru my sickness for some reason. Maybe it is yet to be seen.

OK - off to have my lunch.

Casey Kahne all the way. Or anyone that drives a Dodge. I work for the company (Chrysler LLC) so it is natural that I cheer him on and any other Dodge driver.

My all time favorite doesn't drive any more. That was Terry Labonte. We were also big Dale Earnhardt fans. Still pull for Jr. It will be interesting to see what he does with a new time and who would have thought he would end up with Henrick of all people! I will say I liked the sport a lot better before the chase and all these other things.
