Have a great time on your cruise this month. Seems like quite a few of us will be on the high waters that week.
Kay are you sailing over Thanksgiving as well?
I just realized, we leave 2 weeks from today.Holy cow, this trip is sneaking up on me.

This thread sure jump started in the last 24 hours. Glad to see many are thinking of booking.
I love the idea of lanyards.![]()
On the 2005 & 2006 cruises, we did a lot of fun stuff. Some of them I use daily, like the magnet board from last cruise. I also enjoyed the scrapbook goodie bag exchange, we did as part of Linda's scrapbooking class, although I have to be honest and say that the class, while wonderful, just didn't fit in with all the events planned.
I'm sure we can think of some great idea for this cruise as well.
Are you gonna be on one of the Disney ships or another one??
Whichever ship, the holidays are wonderful for traveling. Hope you meet lots of great people onboard.
Did you set your clocks back last night before going to bed????????
I think Indiana does not do it.
*shrug* Not at all, that post was meant to be quite the opposite, actually. I'm totally cool with whatever ends up being what people want.![]()
Btw, they don't have to be pin-back buttons for the little ones, there's plenty of other choices, including button on a lanyard, here, have a look.

I could even assemble them without the pin and instead put a small ziptie thru so you could loop it on a custom made lanyard. There's certainly options that don't include a pointy pin. The only thing I am is a teeny bit surprised at is that after the literally thousands I've made, including for all the past member cruises, this is the first time anyone's mentioned that issue to me. Glad it came up though, as I can see where that could be a problem for the kids.

Mark--I LOVE the buttons! Because after I wear mine the whole cruise I add it into my shadow box with my SS Member Cruise stuff that I get. Used to put in my scrapbook, but then moved to a 12 x 12 shadowbox with the little mementos we got. They are in those hanging in my living room!
Also-I LOVE the member gallery. Even though I don't look at it often enough, it is great to look at the pictures so I can try to remember names and faces (kinda) before we cruise.
Okay, those are my thoughts!

They used to, until last year when their governor repealed that change and they do dst too now. A lot of people there now outright hate him for it and are actively campainging to get him lose his next re-election.
Yep, it kinda feels funny not doing a scrapbook class on the member cruise anymore. I agree, I decided that there just wasn't any time to squeeze in the class unless we wanted to do it at 6 a.m. one morning. And me, being from the west, 6 a.m. just doesn't work in my schedule very well. I'm doing good to get up at 8 a.m.
I like everyone's different ideas and stuff for the upcoming cruise. One of the first things I learned from doing the scrapbook class was that as soon as we started, someone (many, in fact) would take my original idea and then change it to what would work for them. First thing I learned: DON'T GET OFFENDED!
Anyway, with that said, I am more than happy to do the mini-navigators for next year's cruise. Of course, I am sure someone would like something different or added from how I do it. I am always willing to take suggestions, advice and criticism. This last cruise was the first time I but the pictures of the stateroom floors in and added the list at the end with the staterooms by number. I felt doing that helped me deliver to FE's easier with that in my hand, but if someone has a better idea, let me know.
Okay, I'm at work. Gotta get a trial balance done today before the auditors show up tomorrow. And I have now spent that extra "hour" on the boards!![]()
Thanks for making them !
Also it was nice meeting you and Mary !
Oh my, Mary -- didn't know that. Thanks for doing that for me. I'll remember from now on.
The number is actually posted on another site. Guess they'll be told also.
