Well the holiday weekend is over and everybody can get back to normal for a few weeks before Santa hits us.
some how over the weekend I picked up a nasty head cold. I think this is the first cold I have had in about a year. I think I got this weekend in the hockey rinks,and had the germ about me. OH to be back on Castaway Cay .
Nancy is subbing today so I have my honey do list to finish plus finish putting up christmas lights outside.

Sorry to hear that Dan. Feel better. We put up our outside lights yesterday. In fact we are pretty much done decorating. Just one more tub of inside stuff to put around. Of course we don't put it all up. Over the years we've accumulated a lot so we kind of pick and choose each year what we are putting out.

took a quick trip to wdw last night, went to Mk and Epcot. Need to pack my Hanukkah decorations for mousefest.

Another David Copperfield in the making.

He has a new show on NBC that will air this coming summer. A must see.

Saw his adult show later also.

Amazing - is all I can say.............

Went to Vista Spa early this am and had a nice relaxing morning.

Computers are slow and I have no patience right now.

Have to get back to my book by James Patterson, Double Cross.

Well, I'm back from our awesome Thanksgiving Cruise on the Magic! Had a great time. Hope everyone got their reservations okay. I talked to Kay on Saturday for about 5 minutes while we were at MGM Studios and she was getting ready to head up to Port Canaveral the next morning. It sounded like everyone did okay.

I haven't read the last 20 pages so I don't know what's going on, except Kay told me on the phone that we are hosting a 3 p.m. meet on the Wonder next Sept 21st! Works for me! The AFT verandah is awesome, so we can have a great time.

Okay, so much work to do. I'm not suppose to travel now until January, so hopefully I can get some stuff done at home. My bedroom looks like a tornado has hit it for about the last 3 months!

Welcome Home Linda! Yes I think everyone who wanted to get on did and I think they still have some staterooms open. Looks like a great group of DISers again this cruise. Some returning cruisers and some new cruisers as well.

Good morning everyone! Happy Tuesday! Got my confirmations in the mail for our before and after stay yesterday. Got the confirmation for the cruise on Friday. Now I just have to look at getting trip insurance.

Leaving Friday for that long wonderful ride to "My Happy Place" - it's been too long since I've been down at my home away from home.

I have to get my lists together and make reservations for my stay before and after the cruise too. Since you mentioned yours, Mary, that reminded me that I have some arrangements to make for sure.

So much to do and so little time when you don't stay home for more than 2 weeks a month - LOL!

Looking forward to Member Cruise again in 2008 since I missed the 2007 but there really wasn't much time to fit it in with the cruising that Karen and I did.

We'll head for WDW for the Thursday and Friday after the cruise and then start the drive home Saturday morning. We have very little WDW time scheduled for next year so the more we can do the better! We're heading to Vero for a couple of nights after our WDW stay next week. I think it will be a great post-cruise destination.

yep, go figure - I have never used my prior married name of "burdick" - well, a couple of cruises back, they somehow picked it up and spelled it "burdik" and it took the universe to even take it off.

I don't try to figure anymore - Guess if I was getting paid minimal wage, I wouldn't worry about a correct spelling all the time either.

On this reservation, DVC had Linda as the member booking and I had to change that. Hey, maybe I better tell Linda that she bought the extra 250 points and owes all that money. Now wouldn't that be a hoot - LOL

Congratulations to those who were able to book!



We have decided this is not the cruise for us so we won't be booking. We have just returned from a cruise on another cruise line and found that we prefer it much more than Disney. Sorry to all the Disney Cruise Line fans. I guess that's why there are so many choices in life - so everyone can find what's best for themselves and their families.

Hello, everyone!

I hope all had a great Thanksgiving! My sister and I had wonderful dinner at a fantastic restaurant here in Greenwich CT where I live. Our parents are down in Florida and it was too much for them to come up for such a short time, so it was just the two of us. We'll see them at Christmas time. By the way, we went to see "Enchanted" on Thanksgiving afternoon. It was great!! Every Disney lover (and everyone else) should see it.

I received my confirmation for our before cruise stay at BWV yesterday. I still haven't received the cruise confirmation, though. I am looking forward to getting it soon.
