DVC does not need the private dining room for Brunch!!!!!

how's the weather in orlando? It's 60 in new york. can't wait to leave tomorrow.

Things are very pleasant down here, possibly better than I expected, mid 80's and the humidity is actually low for down here, very comfortable. Always a good thing. Small chance of those typical 5 minute afternoon showers.

We've got a room, went over to Kona for lunch, someplace we've been going to for their lunch ever since I discovered the Beef Teriyaki Salad many years back now.

Crowds are actually a lot lighter in at least Epcot and the MK than we expected. Some of that may be people waiting out until tonight as it is a Not-So-Scary night in MK.

Saw a good bit of the DVC show on Travel Channel last night. For anyone who has seen the the resort channels, the show is a lot like them.

The balance of the drive down was painless. We agreed today that it was the easiest we've taken in 15 years. They almost have the road work done in south Georgia, and what is done is fantastic, it'll be a very nice ride when they finish. The work zones were not even all that bad.

I will say it's brave of you who drive straight through, there is simply no way Mary and I could do that and can't imagine adding in the boundless energy of kids to that. Chicago to Macon is our personal limit, we drove that yesterday and we're still a bit easily winded today.

We are still here. Left work early, hit the doctor, bank, lunch, grocery store and home to finish packing now. I hope to clean up a bit too before we head to bed. The girls are both out, one at work and the other visiting a friend who is up here from St Louis. Hope to see them later as I know they won't be up when we leave at 5 am, lol.

Hi Mary & Mark!

Glad to hear you had a pleasant journey and are now here, just across the lake from us! We are really excited about the meet tomorrow!

We went to AK today, where the weather was beautiful and the crowds were light. We also met up with the Dream Team and were awarded Dream Fastpasses! Although we only used Expedition Everest we were still excited to get a special souvenir, and many of the CMs we passed congratulated us.

We are so excited about BRUNCH, as if this trip could get any better. Now we don't have to make a mad rush to get reservations after boarding.

I was checking some items with the cruise line representative at SSR. I was a bit surprised that the bus will be taking off at 12:45 (later than I expected). I was told there are 106 people at SSR that will be taking Disney transportation from SSR for the cruise.

The resort buses always tend to head out late. That's why in 2006 one of the DISers organized a private bus. We got to the port nice and early and the cost was very reasonable once they filled it with DISers. We're driving over as well and plan on being there around 10 am.

I was expecting the time to be somewhere between 10 - 11 but I guess we will get there somewhere after 2 allowing the initial grouping of people to get through. It might actually be quicker this way as boarding has to be completed by 4 I was told and this way at least spreads out when people show up. I wonder how many DVC members on the cruise are at the other resorts.

I would think they are spread out all over. More and more people come in the day before now. Some staying near the port and some staying at Disney. It is usually to tell after the cruise because you all come back lugging the same stuff. Like in 2005 (or was it 2006 ) when we got large canvas bags. We all came back to the resorts carrying our goodies back in them.

So do they always give you a canvas bag or a little red suitcase to lug the goodies home or is this sometimes left up to you hoping that you have room in your existing suitcase?
