I am with you Joanne! I am off work tomorrow, spending the day with the inlaws, then I work Friday night, then off!!!!! So, technically only one more day of work before the cruise, but still!!!!! I am so ready....well, I gotta pack, but if they wanted to let me board the ship tomorrow, I would be readY!

Hi all,
One suitcase is packed. Cookies are baked and house is vacuumed. Ran out to buy lottery tickets so I won't have to work tomorrow.

Figmentnnemo the Expedition Everest Challenge is closed. However we are just running a 5k on Castaway Cay.

I was told that the cruise director had setup a 5K in the past. I will have my Garmin to keep track of the distance.

Monday's run will be around 10:30 when the ship docks.

Wednesday's run will be around 8:30 again right after the ship docks. This will enable everyone to get in the group picture.

My cabin: 6138

Hopefully I will be there for the meeting on Saturday and should be there for the cruise meeting, depends when the Disney Bus gets there.

Yeah, it is, at one time it was a very high quality place, now... eh. They know they have a guaranteed customers with WDW.

There's a Publix, which is one of the best grocery chains down there, a little further. Not within walking distance if that is your only option, you need to turn left at the first light the other side of I-4 from where Goodings and follow the frontage road, very easy to find.

I made this map a long time ago, but it's still valid, except Publix should be on the next road north, and the Eckerd is now a CVS, but Publix makes for an easy grocery stop for anyone who needs to pick up supplies.

I am back online now that Kathy is here with her Mac. We will be going to DS tomorrow.
I was in Epcot in the morning and the early afternoon. Later I went to the DVC Welcome Home Wednesdays presentation. Basically a game show where they give out prizes, not a lot of information. But they did direct us to someone who could answer questions about BLT after the show.
The scoop:
They are already beginning to take "orders" from members, but they will not begin to sell until Sunday. They will be selling to members only until Oct. 5. $112 per point. Minimum add-on 25 points. A $5 per point discount for add-ons of 100 points or more. The first 1000 members who add on 160 points will get the point discount and their names on the "Tempo Fountain" in the courtyard of BLT. He didn't say anything about special incentives on board.

Kathy and I are going to see the models at the Sales Center at SSR tomorrow. Members can see them without an appointment from 5-7 PM any night, but you can make an appointment during the day.

Thanks for the map. I knew there was a Winn-Dixie in the area but I wasn't quite sure exactly where it was. I saw Goody's and for the few items that I picked, it was okay but not a place where I would like to shop. I normally drive and I usually go to Publix outside Orange Lake or Wal Mart. The most expensive place I shopped for groceries was a small grocery store near Vacation Village at Parkway. I now avoid anything in that shopping mall as the prices in this place was crazy. They clearly were after the visitors next door at the resort because nobody local would shop there.

Sorry to say but, on this trip vikki and are not bringing my laptop. We are going to try to "disconnect" from our office and e-mail for this trip. Even though we have I-phones, we are not going to answer every e-mail and work related call. Wish us luck..... If any one sees us twitching, you know why

I looked at it and I am intrigued at adding on. I was wondering if they would offer a special incentive for adding on while on board. Unfortunatly funds don't allow until next year But that is ok, it won't sell out that fast and there are always resales

The WinnDixie over there is nice, we think. We always went there for our groceries when staying on property. When you are coming out of WDW property, instead of going straight into Crossroads, you make a left onto Apopka-Vineland Rd, it is on the right, about 2 lights down.

I need to get a lottery ticket myself! How late do they sell them?? I am sure I will be too late on my drive home at 1030!

Saw the models today for BLT (I hate calling it that!) and they are nice. The photos don't do them justice. There are some features that are not very KID friendly though.

Let me try this again. Thought I had posted this earlier but the DIS seems to have eaten it.

Last year on the Member Cruise Richard Sherman did a presentation where he showed clips from Mary Poppins (not sure if it was London or New York). Mark and I immediately said if it comes to Chicago we're going (we loved Lion King when it came here).

I think it is fate that it came today as we are ready to leave for this years Member Cruise!

I can't wait to see it.

I'm not sure in Florida. I know some places quite selling lotto tickets around 9 back in Maryland. I think the cut off there is 10.

I think I know where Winn-Dixie is. I believe it is a short distance from Cypress Pointe. I believe there is a mall near there with a post office branch.
