With the gas situation I am glad we are flying this time. The lines here have been rediculious. We had hurricane forced winds on Sunday and about half of the city is without power. Louisville is hosting the Ryder Cup this weekend which adds to the excitement. At this point I am very ready to head south.

Gas is going up here - it is being investigated since we do not get our gas from Texas. I have not had any problems getting gas, I am going to do so today..

Gas here is at $4.15. It just about kills me to pay that much. At one point we had only a few stations opened because of the power outage. People were going crazy. Many people I work with have been without power since Sunday and they are not in the best mood. I feel bad for them but I am so excited about Friday that I know I am getting on thier nerves. One person that sits next to me started throwning things at me when I was humming Its a small world.

I had no idea you guys got it that bad down there. We thought we got it all up here in central and northern Indiana. We are driving starting Friday night and will be driving through Louisville about 6:00 PM. I will waive as we drive by.

We have the Flying "j" truck stop gas report printed out and will monitor it on the internet on the way down.
