09/21/08 SSMC08 S.S. Member Cruise 2008 - Part 2!

We just did a big group on the ship last week. You will just need to break up into at least two tables.

For our sea day, they had so many people wanting brunch, they said they usually can accomodate 80, but they opened up 30 minutes earlier so they could do two seatings, so they took in 120 for brunch. I know who is the manager at Palo's for our cruise and have his name on a card if we need it. I could try to help you, if needed. I'll be getting on the ship first thing.


Any help would be appreciated. Do you want me to email you the list? We will be there early also.

I second the thanks! Any help would be wonderful! Mack is reffing tonight, but I should be on chat. I still hope we get a chat tomorrow. I am helping someone move tomorrow while Mack refs, but after that, I want us to pack. I will have a busy week at school next week, and today it dawned on me, I have to do my lesson plans for the week after I get back before I go too. I am SO excited and can hardly wait till next weekend. I must say, this board and getting to "meet" so many of you here has made it all that more exciting, because now, I am not only excited for the cruise, my first time on a Disney ship, and staying at BWV for the first time, I am also excited to meet all of you in person - not to mention giving out our FE gifts! I am an upbeat, happy person anyway - so needless to say, folks are being driven crazy left and right by my excitement!

Nope, just meet up with me in the terminal and remind me before I get on the ship and I'll see what I can do.
 
I saw kitty pictures before, so here are my 2 cuties, Nicholas & Alexandra (Nicky & Sasha for short). Nicky will be 'helping" me pack tomorrow!

Sorry. Looks like I can't figure out how to add a picture to a post. It won't let me copy a JPG into the post unless I have a URL for it. It won't let me add the JPG as an attachment. And my Mac MobileMe is misbehaving and not letting people view my pictures. Oh well. But my kitties are incredibly cute, take my word for it. ;)
 
We'll be driving from OKW to port with a Budget rental car. Now, according to the Budget website, that location opens at 8am on Sundays. Does anyone know what time I should arrive to make sure the shuttle will get us there by 10? 9:30ish, or should I plan earlier?

I also have my waterproof cameras ready and put my annual passes with my passports to avoid a panic moment when we show up at Epcot!
 
So much to do still. I am trying to get another day off next week. I offered someone a day off and I would do a double shift so I could get another day off....we will see if they go for that.
Otherwise I am off only one day between now and Saturday and I dont want to leave it all to one day especially since my inlaws are in town all week!
I have started my "out of the ordinary" packing list so I can make sure all the weird things I like to bring are in order! LOL!;)
 
We are using our Owner's Locker for the first time on this trip. So I have already UPS'd a box to BWV which has all of my toiletry stuff like shampoo, toothpaste, shower gel. Plus stuff like bandaids, q-tips, tylenol, hair dryer, laundry supplies, microwave popcorn, etc. So all I really need to pack is clothes. Once I get down there, I'll move everything from the box to the Owner's Locker and then I'm set for the next few trips! We are even taking the Locker on the cruise and they are going to pick it up from us at the airport!

Nice link for the Owner's Locker. The discount they give to DISboard participants is great - that's what I used to sign up. We are headed back down in January and I will be back at my parent's off property timeshare in May, so I will get to use it 3 times the 1st year.
 
I'm so glad to see so many wanting to participate in the group pirate picture. We've enjoyed having one from our cruises as it is just the DIS group. The picture on the beach is also great but this one is a little more special as it is our group. Great memories! Linda does a great job of not only getting a photographer but also a character as well. As you can see we had Mickey in '06 and I believe it was '07 we had Captain Hook and Mr. Smee.
 
I have cruise on the brain! I cannot believe I have to work all week! I am ready to go...can't focus on work!!:thumbsup2
