Let us never forget the tragic events of seven years ago... On Monday I was at 7 WTC overlooking the "pit" on the 52nd floor. The view was incredible until you looked down. You could not think of anything else but what it must have been like on that day. Sorry to damper the post, but to (as the sign says in the Port Authority) to Honor is to Remember.

But on a lighter note, we leave in seven days.

Good morning everyone - happy Thursday.

Well as you can see above I was up posting very early. That's because I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep. My head is clogged and feels like it wants to explode. Yuck! Better now than a week from now when we would already be on the road. So I'm staying home from work, going to take something for it, and hopefully shake it.

My, my, my but you were all a chatty bunch last night. I went to bed early and missed all the fun.

Congrats to Mimi on yet another prate!

As for the parks and cruise at Christmas - both are beautiful.

We love going down to WDW in early December and seeing all the decorations. Due to the 7 day cruise we took earlier this year that won't be happening this year but I'm sure we'll be back in the future. Candlelight Processional is beautiful and not to be missed. We also enjoy MVMCP.

As for the cruise we went on the 10 day cruise over Christmas 2004. It was the first planned 10 day as Christmas fell on Saturday that year and they didn't want to be turning over the Magic on Christmas. It was fantastic! The terminal, ship and CC are all decorated for the holidays. In addition we had a fantastic cruise group many of which have become friends and we still correspond with. If anyone wants to read about our 10 day cruise here is a link to our trip report with pictures: http://monorailgreen.info/Xmas2004Cruise/tripreports/Day1.htm That will take you to day 1 and you can get to each day with a link at the bottom of the page.

Today is my parent's 54th wedding anniversary. 7 years ago, I had just gotten off the phone from wishing them a happy anniversary when the 1st plane hit.

We will never forget

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Tip Of The Day

Get ready to smile and say Disney! One of the best souvenirs you'll come home with will be pictures. It starts right before you enter the ship as you pose before what looks like a plain backdrop. Don't be fooled - they will add a digital border around it that has the cruise dates. In addition they have backdrops out every night to have pictures taken in front of. So come down early before dinner, find the one you like best and get in line for a family picture. Some include the ship behind them while another is all white and let's you do lifestyle portraits.

Here's a tip - did you know you can have Christmas Cards made on the ship using one of your pictures? What a great way to show family and friends the fun you had on the Member Cruise!

I feel your yuckies pain...I'm convincing myself it's just allergies. Sinus problems are going around the office.:headache: With record ragweed season where we live, I'm looking at the positive side of the cruise--nothing grows in the middle of the ocean, so I should have at least one day of relief!:woohoo:

I wish we could do the MVMCP, but it stops before we get there. I think the parade will still be going on. I'm sure there will be enough things to do and look at without having to wait in line for a single ride!

:yay: I am at 6 days, 6 hours and 6 minutes! :yay:
Jealousy sets in:laughing:

There is alot of illness floating around here as well. My wifes Uncle, who is traveling with us is just getting over bronchitis:sick:
Hopefully everybody is done getting sick and we have a Happy, Healthy Group!!

Good Morning All!

Mary...sorry to hear that you are sick. I've been feeling yucky this week too but I think it's more related to the weather we've been having. We'll all be well soon. :goodvibes

Do you mean for a pirate: ? Next one is a triple but I have 4 stupid meetings today! :headache: So I'll probably miss it

LOL! Well I may miss it too. I'm about to leave for work and have 2 meetings as soon as I get there. Ah well...even with 1 pirate: I can still hang with the best of them. :goodvibes
