Notice to all participating in the FE game. I need everyone to confirm with me that you still want to play once more before the cruise. Just in case someone had a change of heart at the last minute. I know on my last cruise we had two families do a no show to pick up thier list. If it turns out two families are not participating, I will move our late entries to the main list.

Thanks

A number of weeks ago, I mentioned that I was going to be saying Mass for anyone who wants to attend Mass before the departure on Sunday. A couple of people indicated interest back then, but a lot more people are posting now, so I thought it might be a good idea to remind people. My question right now is, when should we do this? I originally thought it might be possible after the first meet, but a lot people are planning to go to dinner right after that. Sooo, how early on Sunday morning? I am an early riser. Let me know what those of you who would like to attend think. Also, my sister and I are at BWV, so that needs to be taken into account since that is the likely place to have the Mass. I am flexible, though. If enough people are elsewhere (like BCV), I could be persuaded to travel. Let's work out the details.

We are still participating. Not sure what our extenders will look like as we are still working on them however I do have all the gifts. If I can get more done before the cruise I'll include the late entries too.

Oh and on the list you have gosling twice..is that a typo or correct? I only have them listed once on the list I copied.

I am also an early riser. We would love to participate. The earlier the better since we need to leave by 9 to get to the port hopefully to get Palo's. We are at BCV. BWV is only right accross the lake right? I didn't think dinner was until 5:30 how long is the meet? It is very nice of you to do this.

Fr. Frank - you must have been reading my mind as I was just thinking about this. Mark and I are still interested. We're staying at BCV but can easily walk over to BWV. We normally go to 7:30 Mass so we can then have breakfast and head over to the port by 9. Saturday night could also work. The meet starts at 3 and dinner isn't until 5:45 so Mass at 4 could work if Saturday works better for you (unless you were planning on doing an hour long serman) :lmao: So early works for us.

Also I know KarenNY was also interested. She just left today for a 14 day Med cruise so count her in as well.

Thanks again for the very generous offer. I think it will be so special to be able to celebrate Mass with friends!

You and I were posting at the same time and said basically the same thing. Great minds think alike!:)

Yes they do. We are saturday nighters anyway so that would be great. 4 would be wonderful.
I assume the Cape May is casual?

If we could do it the night before, I would think that would be easier for everyone. We could do it after the meet at 4. My homily is only 55 minutes long. :rotfl2: I am thinking we can decide on the place based on who is coming and where they are staying. If mostly everyone that is coming to Mass will be at the meet and you or Joanne want to host, I could bring my Mass things with me to the meet and have Mass right there at BCV. Kathy and I are not eating until 8 o'clock at Le Cellier, so we are pretty flexible.

We are staying at BCV we have a studio so If we aren't too many we would fit. 55 minutes, wow you are chatty:laughing: Our friend who just became a preist said his seminary taught them 7 minutes or you will lose them.... Saw him say Mass for the first time this summer, I was so impressed at how comfortable he was up there.

Seven to ten minutes with one good point is my usual. Believe or not, I may be able to get a dispensation for a Vacation Mass. That means, no homily, no collection. ;) ;)

We have a studio at Beach Club as well. I'm wondering if we could use the Library they have at Beach Club on the first floor. It is in the Villas and I'm not sure how many people use it but it might give us more seating. Just a thought.

I'm not Catholic so I won't be joining in but there is a room at BCV that is right across from the old check in area that would work for the mass. Is that the library that you are talking about, Mary?

I think so. I've only been in the Villas once before and that was back in 2004. I just remember a nice large room with lots of seating and nobody using it. :)

Why don't you use the meet room at Beach Club after the Meet? and all us good Protestants will leave so you good Catholics can have Mass:rotfl::rotfl:.

Go sit by the pool and keep my pina colada cold.:rotfl:

I think the solarium is too out in the open and way too big.

Hello everyone! And welcome to those who have joined us recently. I have tried to keep up, but have been working some overtime and Ryan celebrated his 3rd birthday this week, so we have been so busy!

We are getting really excited, but have a lot to do to get ready. We are heading to Vero on Tuesday for a few days (please Hannah, stay away!) and then full attention to the cruise!!!!:cool1:
I really want to limit the packing since it is only me and DH, so I hope to we can getaway with some wrinkle free mix and match items for dinners.

Does the port still open at 10am, or has that changed?? We are driving in, and since we want Palo brunch, want to try and get in the early boarding groups.

Hey, I don't have any pirates!:guilty: I better learn to pay better attention!;)
