We haven't even thought about our door signs this year. I think were waiting for an itinerary to work off from. Last year our signs were based off each day of the cruise

If you ship things to the resort/ship, save the box. On your last night, you can put out the box with your luggage. GR has packing tape that they will let you use. Or you could put a flattened box in the bottom of your suitcase with a roll of tape. It won't take up much room. We shipped things down last year and shipped them home at the GR desk at BCV. It was $15 to ship the box home which is about $35 less than the airline charges for the 2nd piece of luggage. Well worth it. Plus when it arrived (after we got home) it was a great way to extend our vacation mindset :)

Are you two on two different computers in the same house?

We have had a very lazy day, babysat for a few hours for a very active 3 year old. Took him in the pool for a while but with the wind and clouds believe it or not it was chilly.

I wish they would tell us more. It's getting close. I have to try on clothes tomorrow and see what I need. I didn't lose the weight I wanted so I may have to buy something to wear to dinner.

Good morning Member Cruisers
We sail this month!

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Tip Of The Day

Two waterproof disposable cameras are better than one! If you are planning any water activities you may have already thought of bringing a disposable waterproof camera. You might want to bring two. This is especially true if you are doing something like parasailing or jet skis. Why two? So you can get two different perspectives.

For example when I went parasailing I took one up with me and gave one to someone on the boat with me. They took pictures of me going up and down and I took pictures while I was up. Together they tell a great story.

Same thing on CC if one parent is in the water with the kids the parent relaxing on land can take pictures as can the parent in the water.

They don't cost that much and the memories you'll have will be priceless.

Good morning all,

It is a very windy, rainy thundery morning. Hope every one west of here keeps safe and dry. We are under tornado watch & tropical storm warning until this afternoon.

So lots of TV watching and house work today as long as we have power!!

Happy Labor day all.

Good morning everyone!! I cannot believe we cruise THIS month!:cool1:

We also did the Castle Suite Tour last night. It was beautiful, but believe it or not, not what I expected. My favorite room was the bathroom. The tub was so deep I think I might drown in it!:lmao:

JoanneL-I didn't lose the weight I wanted either....so i gotta go through my clothes and get a few things for dinners. Frustrating but at this point, I just wanna cruise!!! I might not want to pose for many pictures, but that saves us money in the end! LOL!;)

Count me in as another one who didn't lose what I wanted to by this point. In fact over the past 6 weeks I've gained some back. I was doing really good through June, but July and August had me doing little exercise due to my ankle. I'm good for clothes however. I was hoping I'd have to go and buy smaller sizes but that isn't the case.:guilty:

I hope everyone has a happy and safe Labor Day today

You too Robin! I did what you did yesterday and went through all the toiletries etc for the trip. Need just a few little things replaced.

BTW I updated the FE list on the first post with our additional people.

Happy Labor Day to everyone. Of course if you're on the Gulf Coast it's not so happy. I've been watching on the news - looks pretty bad. Also watching Hanna - does anyone know if the cruise that was supposed to leave yesterday actually did? I would think heading to CC would be risky right now. It all makes me wonder why we would leave our nice safe New England homes to go down into hurricane country. I'm getting a little nervous! Dan's fishing this morning so I decided to post today.

N

So I don't feel alone anymore!!!:lovestruc It is nice to know I am not the only one who was trying to be less "Pooh-sized" for this cruise!;)

I just hate to take anything away from my cruise spending money to buy cruse clothes! :cutie:
Happy Labor Day!!!! I'm at work! LOL! Go figure!

If we cannot make the Saturday meet, can we get our buttons on the ship when we meet at Promenade??? Or maybe if we see you all at the port?? Still not sure if I have to work that day.....
Thanks!

I am not gonna go on and on for the pirate.....I bet someone is lurking out there ready to swoop in on me! :lmao:

Really I am just so excited about the cruise. First we go to Vero, so I gotta go home and pack tonight after work. I hope Hanna stays away long enough for us to go, have fun and get back hom!

Is two weeks enough time to get organized and pack???

Hope everyone stays safe with all these storms!:grouphug:

danandnan- the cruise did go out yesterday, but the itinerary changed to going to castaway cay first and then Nassau. I hope the people on the 5 night going out today gets a safe and enjoyable sailing!
