I think as long as you are at the port early and in the first couple of boarding groups you should be fine getting a brunch reservation on board.

Member Gallery Update!

We have two new families who have joined us:

Jack (Smilingjack) and his DW Andrea

Barbara (MEAGON2222) and her family: DH Jim, DS Spencer, and DS Christian

Come to the gallery to meet them.

Now is a good time to check your own info and if anything needs changing let me know. Chances are if I have it wrong in the gallery I have it wrong on the spreadsheet we'll be using for the buttons and the mini-navigator.

Also I'll be sending out some pm's today for people who signed on for the gallery but haven't posted in a while. Just want to make sure they are still sailing with us. Sometimes someone drops out and forgets to let people know.

I'm a little brain dead this morning and can't remember who was coordinating dinner at Cape May Cafe but I wanted to send an update that my crew will not be attending after all. My mom is bringing a friend down with her and I have family that may come up that evening from Tampa to visit with us before we leave. We will stop by the DIS meet on the cruise though

I just called DCL and there at this point in time there is NOT a planned stop at Port Everglades.

This weeks four and three day cruises used Port Everglades because of the tropical storm.

That must have been quite a task to move from Port Canaveral to Everglades, consider the number of folks that needed bus transportation plus think about the logistics of food, etc.

What rumor was this? I think that I might have mentioned that it would be making a guest appearence in Port Everglades last Thursday since the port was closed, but I wasn't sure what rumor you were refering too.

My husband saw all the DCL and Mears Buses down there and he said it was a really weird sight to see them going up and down 595 and 95 in Ft. Lauderdale. That is where he works.

Yay! We will be leaving in 25 days. I got all the FE stuff...now just need to get bags and do our from tags. Hopefully we'll have our FE finished soon too. The girls are so excited. We also now have 2 more trips planned...next Mar. for my DD12 Band Trip and a 3-day cruise for next June.

I think some of it might have come with a number of us talking about the 2005 cruise. We docked in Ft. Lauderdale on the way home. I think DCL did a great job to make the transition very smooth.

I'm so looking forward to being back on the Wonder in 4 short weeks. While I too wish DVC would be a little more forthcoming with info I know that DVC will have some great guests. While we don't know who they are we know that we'll have two Imagineers on board with us and I can't wait to go to their presentations.

They didn't give us much clue last year as to who would be on the ship either except for Sklar. They had his picture fuzzy for a while and then revealed it.

So it kind of looks like last year, we won't know until we are on the ship. I know I am excited.

Another semester starts for me tomorrow - sigh. But it is my last before Grad school starts.

Any extras that we had last year, we gave to people that didn't sign up for the FE. I think people liked the surprise of it.

In the mini navigator Linda put Nemo's next to the people who signed up for the fish extender exchange before the deadline. Then next to the people who expressed an interest after she put Crush's. Those who had extra gave to those people as well. It was really cute.

Honestly I don't know. I do know we've enjoyed a number of guests over the years so I'm sure DVC will have some good ones for us.
